I am currently in 2nd semester of btech in 2020 and my date of birth is 10th July 1999.How many attempts do I have for cds? When can I apply?

Hi Aayush,

As per the latest eligibility criteria of CDS 2020, the candidates between 20 to 24 years are eligible to give this exam.

You are 21 now and you are going to be of 24 years on 11 July 2023 so you are eligible for the respective exam in each and every course ranging from IMA to OTA.

You have total 4 attempts remaining.

Im an indian army soldier wife,can I join army as a officer through CDS exam??

Hello,

Women are recruited through CDS in Officer's Training Academy only.Female candidates who are unmarried, widow and divorcee are only eligible to join Indian army through CDS. So as you have not fulfilled the eligibility criteria you are not eligible to join Indian Army through CDS.

For CDS EXAMINATION, you can start with going through the previous few years question papers and try solving them that will help you find where do you stand. you need to work on your written English language and skills as well as be upto date on the day to day general knowledge while having a elementary knowledge about mathematics.  You can start reading newspaper which will help you in general knowledge as well improve your English. You can also go for arihant publication books for CDS that can help as well.

Yes you can apply for CDS in 2023. According to CDS eligibility criteria candidate's minimum age should be 20 & maximum age should be 24 years. my dob 24th july 1996 Graduate (Bachelor of engineering) am i eligible for CDS 2 for indian naval academy

The general eligibility criteria for CDS exam states that the candidate must be in between 19-24 years of age to join naval academy. He should have done graduation form a recognised university or should be appearing for the final semester examination. So, you are exactly 24 years old.
For naval academy it is also, the candidate should be unmarried and born after January 2, 1996 and before January 1, 2002.
So, you are eligibile.

Is spectacles allow a candidates can select with spectacles

Dear aspirant,

yes you can apply for CDS exam even if you have spectacles however you will not be able to get into the air force and flying department because of your spectacles.

you could however go for logistics and administration even if you have your spectacles.

if I have 50% in mathematics and physics in 10+2 class, can I appear for OTA and AFA?

Hello!

Yes, you are eligible for appearing for cds ota & afa.

  • The eligibility criteria for CDS OTA says: the person should be between 19-25 years age & should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised University/institue (men & women both). The men can be married or unmarried & women can be married or unmarried or widow.
  • The eligibility criteria for AFA says that: the person should be between 20-24 years unmarried. Should have a degree  (with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level) from a recognised University/institue or bachelor's in engineering.

i have completed my ba.llb degree and my dob is 04/03/1995 .can i apply for CDS .if not then is there any other option for me in defence.

You are 26 now which means you are above 24 years of age now, so you are not eligible for the respective exam in each and every course ranging from IMA to OTA.

You can go for Indian Army recruitments now.

I am a student of 5 years law intergrated course . Will i be eligible to qualify for cds exam at the end of 3rd year and also eligible to sit for ssb?

Hello,

No, you cannot appear in the CDS exam in the 3rd year of you integrated law course.Because you are only in the middle of the course and candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree from a recognized board are eligible.Candidates who are appearing in the final year/final semester are also eligible. But you will have to complete your degree to be eligible
