Common Admission Test
Based on your past academic records and considering you have no work experience and belong to general category, only a 100 percentile can fetch you a call from IIM A. Even a 100 percentile may not be enough for a IIM B call.
All the best!
Hi Prathmesh,
The weightage along with CAT score is given to academic marks, academic diversity, work experience. The weightage changes every year. The last year cut off was 94.9percentile. The weightage was divided into 60%(CMAT)+20%(academic marks)+20%(diversity). So it depends on cut off and weightage division.
All the best!!
For top IIMs like IIM A, B and C you need to have above 92+ percentile to get a call and above 95+ percentile to increase the probability of your conversion. For other old IIMs like IIM K, L and I you need to have above 85+ percentile and 90+
Hello,
The cut off for CAT to get admission in any IIM's for OBC-NC is 80-90 percentile.
For IIM A the cut off is 75+ percentile, for IIM B the cut off is 80+ percentile, for IIM C the cut off is around 85 percentile.
For IIM Indore, IIM Visakhapatnam,
The chances are less to get a call from IIMs based on your score as the minimum you require 90 percentile to apply for New IIMs as a General Category. The other chances you have for the colleges like ABV – Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, Loyola
