Cutoff of AIM, Kolkata last year was around 73 percentile. As per predictions and looking into the similar level of difficulty of paper this year too, the cutoff ought to remain the same. So, if you score above 75 percentile you will get a call from AIM, Kolkata for GD-PI.

Firstly, there shall be 10month gap in your profile and woukd be required to justify as why you left this job.
Obviously it wont hamper your chances, but if you're mentioning that you have taken long gap for preparing then it is definitely not apt.

There is no fixed no. Of questions you need to attempt to get any percentile. It is all relative with other students and vary every year.

It also depends on your accuracy rate. By attempting 20 questions with 100% accuracy you can achieve more marks and percentile than attempting 30

Very difficult to convert even if you get calls.

Specially if you are from the General Category and also if you are A Male engineering Candidate it will be more difficult.

According to the innformation provided you have a very good academic record. To answer your query i would like to say that for IIM ABC you need a percentile over 95 to convert it in final call. 

For IIM L you need above 90 percentile and for IIM
