Getting a State's seat depends mainly upon your state rank. Please share your state rank . As much as I can predict from all india rank you have moderate to low chances of getting a seat.

If you do not belong to Maharashtra then you can not apply for Maharashtra medical colleges, You can only go for deemed universities which counselling will be conducted by MCC. but you can apply for karanataka medical colleges without domicile for the management quota seats in the private colleges. You can justify by above works for your gap, however the interviewer may still ask why you did not go for a full time job in a firm. So be prepared for that. Apart from this focus primarily on your cat preparation

Firstly, Jee advanced is not accepted by NITs and BiTs campuses. 

Hence, for 2019 you will have to reappear exams. 

Its better you take up NITs like Sikkim and Manipur with Jee Mains rank.

Studnets can give Jee Main and Advanced for maximum of 3 attempts.
