Hi sanjay, performance is relative so it's difficult to make absolute assumptions. However an overall score of 100+ out of 300 will surely fetch 85%ile+. And there are sectional cutoffs of 80%ile in each section to get through top B-schools, that are highly variable depending on difficulty level and performance

Hi, are you talking about CAT? Kindly let us know your score & %ile so that we can help. CAT doesn't give ranks. CAT is a mgmt entrance exam for admission to top B schools so B.Tech in ME is not available through CAT.
