Hello, I have a rank of 6747 in clat and Im from outside Delhi. I havent been allotted any seats in first round. What are my chances?

vikal_1521213823 Student Expert 25th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant, you have pretty decent rank in CLAT, with that much of rank you are pretty much eligible for most of the college out there. Though you are not eligible for top tier governemnt college. And do keep some college as backup plan. And you have fair chance of getting seat in upcoming rounds. Hope this helps!!!

How to prepare for CLAT without attending classes

gaurav Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2019

  Dear aspirant,

There are five sections namely English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics. One should start early preparation and regular revision. Whatever small doubt you get should be cleared. Analyze previous year papers and study as per chapter weightage. I have cleared CLAT in 2018 and my registration no. was 18000217 i want admission in B.com LLB. i urge for your help

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 21st Jul, 2019
Hey Manmeet.
If you cleared CLAT in 2018, it will be of no use to you in this session for admission anywhere. CLAT is for admission in all the National Law Universities in India except NLU Delhi. And admission is done only through official counselling by CLAT. Various Private colleges do accept CLAT scores for admission but even these colleges would accept CLAT ranks for 2019 session for admission this year. Hence 2018 CLAT scores won't help you for admission anywhere. If you wish to pursue BCOM LLB.
BCOM LLB is provided by various good colelegs but Most of the top colleges provide only BA LLB course.  VARIOUS ENTRANCES ARE-

CLAT- This entrance test is for admission in All National Law Universities which are among the top law schools in the country. Different NLUs provide different course like BCOM LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- To be eligible to take admission through CLAT you need to pass Class 12th with a minimum aggregate of atleast 45% marks. Hence you seem to be eligible.

AILET- For admission in National Law University Delhi. NLU Delhi is the only NLU that offers admission through a separate entrance test. Only BA LLB

SLAT- For admission in Symbiosis Law School, Pune and other campuses. Ba LLB, BBA LLB

LSAT- All Private Law colleges in India like Jindal Global Law School, UPES etc

IPU CET- For admission in various colleges under IP University, Delhi BA LLB, BBA LLB

PU BA/BCOM LLb- For admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh and its regional centres.

MHCET- GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune, and other law colleges in Maharashtra.

Christ University

TS LAWCET
Best of luck.

Law colleges in Mumbai which give admissions without MH-CET but I have given CLAT ?

Ramsha_1482736792 Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019
Hello aspirant,
As per my knowledge you do not get any government college or university without MH-CET exam.
However, it is not the case in private colleges.
You cannot directly register through their websites.
There they will mention about their entrance exam if any.
Jindal global school, sonipat
Amity law school
PSIT, Kanpur
New law college, pune
Ramaiah law college
KIIT School of law
All the best.

Can a graduate in BA English apply for CLAT and get admitted in NLUs if he/she is within the age limit

Sourav Sarkar Student Expert 17th Jul, 2019

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an All-India centralized examination that allows the students to get admission in the 21 National Law Universities in India for Law courses such as LLB and LLM.

Am sorry to say but you can't give CLAT PG as per as the Clat eligibility which says that:

  • You must have a three-year LLB degree or a three-year integrated LLB degree if equivalent LLB degree from a recognized University with 55% for General/ OBC/ SAP, and 50% for SC/ST.(aggregate marks)

Thank You & All the best!
