Yes you can apply for CLAT. It will take longer but now that you have done BA, you just have to do LLB and its durantion will the shorter to the combined BALLB course which is for 5 years. You can prepare and appear for CLAT after BA or earlier.

Appearing for CLAT exam has nothing to do with you being a commerce or Science student. If you are serious join a coaching institute and they will teach you legal aptitude in a detailed way. Other than that you can just buy books and study from them. I hope this information was helpful!

Dear student, you can definitely sit in the CLAT exam as there is no restriction of age on it. You just need to be passed out from higher secondary (10+2) with over 45% marks at least in whichever stream. There is no problem even if you are a diploma holder or even a postgraduate too.

You will have to keep a check on the allottment list when IP allots seats to students in the counseling round. If you are not allotted any seat in the counseling round then you can apply for spot counseling round where you will definitely be allotted one of the college of IP University except VIPS,  USLLS and DIMS Noida. List of colleges affiliated to IP university are mentioned at IPU.ac.in.
