The salary of company secretaries is disclosed in the annual report… some companies have even paid 1 crore. But very few are in that bracket. The message is you can reach there if you want to. The best cities to pursue company secretary jobs will be cities with developed industries or cities that have a good standard of living because these cities will have more corporates and conglomerates. Eligibility for CMA

For completing the professional course of Company Secretary you need to have a bachelor’s degree kn any discipline. You can start the course right after your 12th examination.

The bachelor’s degree doesn’t necessarily have to be B.Com. It can be any other course as well.

Hey Harsh!  Theory is actually come from good understanding and thinking  and it demand for both CA and CS .Many students focus on covering their syllabus only as they not focus to think much and cover only syllabus 

But as you said you are good in theoretical portion you can go company secretary .you have to really make it interesting for you while pursuing  and along with your syllabus you have to cover your learning capacity. 

You have to think more about the subjects and learn all the concepts very well for the  it demand a serious thinking about incidence happend in company, issue of black money , window dressing etc in company.
