is RPF SI exam same in competition level of UPSC? Or is it less difficult to UPSC

pdwords Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for RPF SI as well as UPSC is based on graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, in case of RPF SI the exam is conducted in three stages such as Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test, followed by Document Verification, however in case of UPSC the three stages are Preliminary which has two papers, each of 200 marks, it's conducted in MCQs format, the second stage is Mains which is subjective paper you have to write answers, there are total of nine papers, and last stage is Personality Test. The syllabus of UPSC is humongous, it's one of the toughest exam, however RPF SI consists of only CBT Test which consists of sections like General Awareness, General intelligence and Reasoning, Arithmetic, as this is CBT based hence practice and accuracy matters lot here, preparing for UPSC is lot more different as I said the syllabus is quite extensive.

Im a neet aspirant ...frm telangana local....in telangana state svs and au and ou combined list has been given.. why their names haven been show in telangana merit list.. how are the seats going to be allot... is their any competition for ou students with svs ans au.??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Nov, 2020

The merit list does have Candidates belonging to both AU and SVU. To give you a glimpse,

OU includes districts like Mahbubnagar, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medak, Nalgonda, Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad.

AU area includes districts Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam.

S.V.U. area  includes the districts Nellore, Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool.

And to be locale to an area you should have stayed in that area for atleast a period of 7 years. But if a Candidate has spent 7 years in 2 areas, the area in which he has spent atleast 4 years will be considered his local area. Going by this, AU and SVU area Candidates cannot be considered for Telangana State Counselling Now if a resident of AP who has the domicile of AP has studied more than 4 years in OU area, even he/she is eligible for appearing for Telangana State Counselling.

Owing to the negative marking discrepency that happened for XAT 2020, is the competition a bit low as compared to last year? After getting severly affected by the same, can i expect a 70 percentile at an overall score of 12.01mks? I m actually targetting GIM which has 15 points off for Goan Domicile

Apurvi Tiwari 22nd Nov, 2020

Hi there,

I hope you are doing well. It is not possible to predict the level and intensity of the competition . Because many competition has been conducted that are also fiercely hit by discrepancy like CLAT but the competition didn't go down .

So , before results you can't expect that much percentile from such a low score.

Thank you

Totally non karnataka seats in karnataka state.total linguistic minority (telugu) seats in karnataka. neet rank 193905 . I am andhra pradesh. can i get seat in linguistic minority college (present competition). total non karnataka application s nearly 9350.I am career360 subscriber. thank you.

Anurag Khanna 19th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

I am enlisting down the Linguistic Minority colleges in Karnataka :-

  • A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences
  • MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital
  • Navodaya Medical College
  • Raja Rajeshwari Medical College & Hospital
  • Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Medical College
  • Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

On such rank and category you have very low chances of getting any linguistic minority college under state quota of Karnataka according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the closing rank for linguistic minority colleges was around 1,00,000-1,15,000 under state quota for General category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

what is the eligibility criteria for pg diploma in tv journalism hindi at Jamia and how to prepare myself for the written exam? Is there any pi and gd too? What is the level of competition for this particular course?

tinni.chats 19th Nov, 2020
Hello Aspirant, hope you are doing good.

So , the basic eligibility to apply for PG degree in tv journalism in Jamia is that you have to be a graduate from a recognized college/university . The admission process will include an entrance exam conducted by the college and only if you qualify for that exam , you will be able to get to the next round which will be the group discussion and Personal interview round. The seats are limited so the competition will be tough , very evidently.

Hope this helps you. Good luck !!

Merchant Navy is divided in parts, if you come under Shipping Corporation of India than you come under the government sectore.

As the salary is very high in Merchant Navy the job is pity good in terms of money .

It is one of the best carrier option in today's time. There is moderate competition in it's exam.

The highest post in Merchant Navy is CAPTAIN.

The best colleges for it's prepartion are TOLANI MARITIME INSTITUTE, SAMUNDAR INSTITUTE OF MARITIME STUDIES, INTERNATIONAL MARITIME INSTITUTE and many more.

IMU CET is the exam for colleges of merchant navy.

I got 476 in neet 2020.my state rank was 4641 in Andhrapradesh. can i get government Or A-category seat in AP under bc-b and female quota. as this year ranks were too high and there is tough competition.. please suggest me colleges in which i can get seat in AU region.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th Nov, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota, an All India Rank of 62237 secured a seat in AU- BC-B- Female Category. That was the cut off. But your All India Rank is 106929. There are approximately 402 seats allotted for OBC Category and so with this score, a Government Quota seat in Private Medical Colleges is quite difficult. You might get a seat in Management Quota seats of Colleges like:

GSL Medical College

Great Eastern Medical College

ASRAM College, Eluru

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .

As paper of neet 2020 is easy. And competition is increasing. Do we have any chances of getting cutoff increased????

Apoorva Student Expert 28th Sep, 2020

Hello dear student,

Yes there is a good probability that this year cutoff increases high in comparison to previous years although every year cutoff marks increases. As cutoff depends upon many factors like how difficult was the paper, how many students appeared for the exam, the highest marks obtained by the student in the exam etc.  So yes the chances are high this year you might see a little higher cutoff in comparison to the previous years

Thank you

at present situation many of students attracted to cse and it branchs in engineering do it is safe core branch interested students also going to cse because of lack of employment in core domains do cse also lose its demand in future ismuch competition in cse cause demand supply chain imbalance..

Karam Vir 7th Nov, 2020

Hi,

If more students are getting attracted towards CSE, then technological advancements are also increasing day by day. Even if today , lakhs of students are doing CSE, it is not mandatory that they will get into top companies. Because just getting into course does not mean a good job, you need to prove your abilities in the said area to get into top companies. So, CSE is indeed a good option. So, without stressing much focus more on giving best in the course, which would be beneficial. If you are interested, you must pursue with without giving a second thought.

Can you provide points on Vigilant India Prosperous India for essay writing competition?

theeanonymous 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Well since this is an essay about prosperous India , it would be good to start with the significance of our nation followed by the need or relevance of this essay topic at present. To write a good essay you need to divide the topic into parts and explain each part in detail and eventually bring them together. In this case , you can first talk about vigilance and its need on both an individual as well as an societal level.

Then you have to discuss about what is meant by prosperous India where you can write about its goals and how India a prosperous India would be .Now in this topic when it comes to vigilance , the main point you can highlight would be the corruption in India. Discuss how corruption has jeopardized the contribution on freedom fighters . You can also write about all sorts of negative impacts of corruption on citizen and the economy. Mention the reasons why India is still a developing country along with people's fear and ignorance to report corruption. List out some relevant point on poverty, unemployment, increasing crime rate etc.You can even discuss about how the freedom in rules, regulations, punishments etc are often misused by people. Discuss a little on how education plays a role in bringing a change. Then you should write on why "The Vigilance Awareness Week", is being celebrated from 27 October to 2 November 2020 and then points on the role of Central Vigilance Commission in developing our country followed by may be their history and  activities in the past which has created a positive impact on controlling corruption. Then you can end by writing your own perspective on this issue and how you personally view a corruption free and crime free prosperous India. May be you can end with a quote. This is just a vague outline so you can further research on this topic and add some more valuable points. Also remember to divide and write is at sub topics with separate sub headings.

Hope this helps.
