how can I take admission in computer science and engineering

Sharon Rose Student Expert 17th Apr, 2021

Hello,

To get admission to B.Tech Computer Science Engineering you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent or appear in 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. You must pass in all subjects with minimum aggregate marks.  There are various national level, state level and university level entrance exams for admission to under graduate Engineering courses. Also in states like admission to Engineering is based on marks scored in 10+2. Each exam has different eligibility criteria so you need to check the eligibility criteria before applying for any college/entrance examination.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 17th Apr, 2021

Hello,

The minimum education requirement to get admission to B.E/B.Tech Computer Science Engineering is that a candidate must have passed  10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board with minimum percentage of marks. You cannot get admission to B.Tech Computer Science Engineering on class 10th basis. You need to study class 11th and class 12th and pass in the qualifying examination. You need to again appear for class 12th  examination again and pass in all subjects to get admission to B.Tech CSE.

sir I have Secured 77.85 percentile in jee main 2021. Can I able to take admission in Nit Kurushetra or Dtu with computer science and engineering.

aditya 14th Apr, 2021

hello Anand kumar

I hope you are doing good . I will glad to aware you that at your percentile your estimated rank would be around 235290 - 264500 . At this rank you holds very low chances of getting admission in any nits and for dtu it is big no . For these top tier-1 colleges you rank should be atleast below 10000 for getting good nits with core branch . I suggest you not to wait for counselling and start preparing for next attempt with full dedication and following a proper road map

For your references, I am sharing the cut off link of nit

Dear aspirant,

As you are asking about the course and the college details so I would also like to know the name of the college because without that I would not be able guide you in an organised way. So It totally depends upon the college because each college is different in these things.
