Should i take admission in XAVIER SCHOOL OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING ?This college is a part of a well reputed university that is XUB. But this college is completely new(no batch passed out till). Fee is 2 lacs per annum (hostel fee is less). But professors(most phD IIT) and syllabus are good

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 3rd Sep, 2020

hi,

see since there is no batches till passed from this institute it would be best if you go for some of the other institute, even if it is a part on xaviour university, some times placement is no great in all courses of the same university. before taking admission to any college , college reviews by students, placement records matters most. if it would be an govt. institute I may suggest you to go, but since it is private and fees structure is quite high in private organization, ao before Investing your money and time you have to think wisely. try to get admission in tier 1 colleges where is decent placement record.

hope it would help.

Is ITER College Bhubaneswar is good for computer science and engineering???

Ayush Anand 2nd Sep, 2020

Hello,

ITER or Siksha 'O' Anusandhan is an average private college for engineering.

Its NIRF ranking is 34th in engineering. So, it can be looking good but looking at its placement we can se it is 3.5 lakhs per annum which makes it average and also fee is 10 lakhs for 4 years which is also costly. Also the college has all the facilities and infrastructure is looking good.

Now talking about students review most of the students from CSE in this college reviewed it as good college for CSE but as I personally don't know about the college I can tell you only on the basis of stats and reviews and by looking at that I can say it is an average college for CSE and only opt it if you are not getting any good NIT.
