Computer science and engineering
Interesting, is what you can only determine yourself. What I can tell you about is scope. These days many private institutions provide specialization in bachelors courses, but believe me, beyond fancy names, they are nothing else. At a bachelors level, there is nothing much to specialize. You have got to skim past all the basics. Specializations are for postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Yet if you want to go for these so called 'specialization' programmes, go for IoT or Data Science. They are the two big things everyone seems to be talking about. Yet if bioinformatics appeals you the most, go for that. You will be better off in a field that you like than one that you have been pushed to.
Hello Utsav,
VIT is the conducting body of VITEEE. On account of Covid19 pendemic this year VITEEE was cancelled and the admission for the academic session 2020-21 was to be given solely based on class 12 aggregate percentage. A candidate seeking admission has to find place in merit list and then they would be shortlisted for counselling process.

Dear Student,
Both the streams are very good for studies. Mechanical Engineering has core subjects of sciences and computer science engineering has the newer theories with different interesting thoughts. Computer Science Engineering takes less time as a degree than Mechanical Engineering to be establish. But having a position in a stream is depends on you, that how much ability you have in your subjects. The new society has many more opportunities in the field of Computer Science engineering than mechanical Engineering in India.
But if you want to go in the educational jobs then you can go for M.Tech and then for research also.
Thank You.
