Hello Prema ,
to be precise its very difficult to get in bvb college with 32616 rank in kcet exam . usually for general category the rank demanded is below 7000, if you belong to reserved category you may try in later round . you can consider other branch like ECE, MECHANICAL .or try different college whose cutoff is lower in cs branch.
Hello Mr. Shashank,
NIELIT Ropar is fairly new in offering B. Tech programs and has currently poor campus placement and infrastructure compared to other well-established institutes. If your son's rank permits, it would be best to attend further rounds of JoSAA and look for better options elsewhere, particularly within more established NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs. However, if no other options are available, if he is truly passionate about AI/ML, then he can take advantage of the opportunity by self-learning and putting in an internship — but this will depend heavily on him to take the next step.
If your KCET rank is 101798 and you belong to category 2AR and you want to take admission in computer science or electronics or information science or artificial intelligence then it is very difficult to get seat in top colleges because in good colleges like RV or BMS or PES or NIT or IIIT the cut off rank for CS or EC or IS or AI is very low like 1000 or 20000 or 30000 and your rank is very high so you cannot get those colleges and branches but still you do not need to worry because there are many other private colleges and small colleges where the cut off goes above 90000 or even 100000 so you can get some seat in small colleges or low demand branches if you really want CS or AI then you can try in small private colleges but placements may not be very good there if you are okay with other branches like civil mechanical or electrical then your chance becomes better because those branches have higher cut off ranks and you can easily get seat in those you should take part in counselling and fill all options from good to average colleges so if any seat is available you will get it also you can wait for second round or casual round and some seats may become free also you can try management quota in private colleges if you want to pay extra fees or you can give other exams like COMEDK if you want more options if you still want good CS or AI branch and not happy with current options then you can prepare again and give KCET next year with more practice and get better rank but for now you should try with this rank and choose carefully your branch and college and talk to parents before deciding remember every college is not same so you should check if the college has good teachers clean campus and nice labs before going for admission also some colleges offer scholarships and hostel so check that too so even with this rank you can study and do well in life if you work hard and keep learning.
With a CRL of 1.53 lakh, being an outside Delhi OBC candidate with defence quota priority VI, your chances of getting a CS-related branch like CSAM, CSD, CSSS, CSAI, or CSE at IIIT Delhi are unfortunately very low. The closing ranks for OBC and even for OBC with defence quota usually stay well below your rank, often within the top 80,000. Even with the quota, priority VI doesn’t offer as much relaxation as the higher priorities.
So realistically, it's unlikely you'll get a CS branch at IIIT Delhi with this rank this year. You might want to keep some backup options in mind or consider a drop year if IIIT Delhi is your goal.
Hello,
The deadline for submitting documents for the B.Sc. Computer Science (B.Sc.) The admission process for CS differs based on the university or college to which you submit your application. Typically, following the publication of merit lists or entrance exam outcomes, colleges provide a set timetable for the verification and submission of documents.
The majority of universities initiate the process from June to August, with specific dates provided in their official admission announcements or on their websites. Regularly checking the official website of the college or university to which you applied is essential for updates.
Failing to submit documents on time may lead to the cancellation of your admission, so ensure you bring all required documents such as your 10th and 12th grade mark sheets, transfer certificate, caste certificate (if relevant), and ID proofs according to the institution's requirements. If you have doubts, you can reach out to the college's admission office to confirm the dates.
Hope this helps. All the best!
