Computer Science Engineering
Hello sir,
Thanks for reaching out!
with an EWS rank of 1605 in REAP 2025 getting CSE at JECRC may be tough in early rounds. However you may still have a fair chance in CS related branches like IT,AI,ML,Data Science during later rounds. If you don't get JECRC you still have good chances of securing CS or related branches in other reputed college such as:
Poornima College of Engineering
Global Institute of Technology
SKIT,Jaipur
Arya College.
To increase your chances make sure to fill maximum choices during counselling and definitely participate in the spot round,as many students withdraw and seats open up.
Hello Aspirant,
With a GATE 2025 score of 352 and OBC rank 21421 in CSE it can be probable for M.Tech in CSE or AI at JNTUA (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur). In the initial rounds it can be challenging as the cutoffs for CSE/AI are usually high, core branches tend to have low cutoffs relative to all other branches and will only get higher in general rounds. If your only applying for CSE and AI only, you might have a foot in the door with later rounds or spot admissions to fill vacancies from those rejected in the initial rounds or those that declined the offer, if they have not confirmed their seats. Again, keep an eye on either CCMT or on at the university level counselling, soon enough it will be quite an academic year!
Hello
With 88 percentile in JEE Main 2025 , your approximate All India Rank would be between 1,06,000 and 1,20,000 (for the general category).
CSE (Computer Science Engineering):
Not possible in top NITs or IIITs .
Unlikely in lower NITs unless you belong to a reserved category or have home state advantage .
Possible in some state government colleges and many private colleges .
ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering):
Very less chance in lower NITs .
Possible in some IIITs with home state/reserved category advantage .
EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering):
More availability compared to CSE and ECE .
Better chances in state and private engineering colleges .
hope this helps you .
Yes, with a GATE 2025 score of 334 in CS/IT , you can get admission in Telangana through PGECET counselling. GATE qualified candidates get first preference , so you have a decent chance , specially in less competitive colleges or if you have category reservation.
Just register for counselling and fill choices wisely.
GATE qualified candidates are given first preference over PGECET rankers during seat allotment .
TS PGECET counselling is open to GATE qualifiers from 2023–25 .
Your 92 marks in SSC board is good and definitely help in your profile but they are just one factor they consider for admission .To get into CS or IT in Avasari College of Polytechnic,Pune, you must appear for the CET and score well in it ideally above 85-90 out of 100 for top branches.
Right now,The CET application for this year is closed ,so you'll have to wait for next cycle if you haven't applied yet,if you have already appeared, keep checking the councelling round to secure a seat.
So,while your SSC score is strong,a good CET score is a key for admission to Avasari Polytechnic college.

With a 79.7 percentile in MHT-CET, getting Computer Science at VESIT Chembur through the regular CAP round is very unlikely. The cutoff for CSE in open category is usually around 98 percentile. Even under minority quota, especially for Sindhi students, the cutoff is typically above 90 percentile.
Now, when it comes to institute-level or management quota, there is a small chance. These seats are filled after CAP rounds and may have slightly lower cutoffs, but for high-demand branches like CS, even institute round cutoffs hover around 95 to 97 percentile. With 79.7 percentile, it's still on the lower side.
If you belong to the minority community recognized by the institute, you may have a better shot, but the chances for CSE specifically remain slim even there. Also, institute-level quota usually comes with higher fees compared to CAP seats.
With 79.7 percentile in MHT-CET, getting B.Tech CS at VESIT Chembur through management or institute quota is very unlikely. VESIT is a top-tier college, and even for management seats, the demand is high. Typically, students getting CS through institute quota still have percentiles in the mid to high 90s. Even in spot or vacancy rounds, the cutoffs for CS don’t drop drastically. With your percentile, it's better to look at other colleges where the CS cutoff is lower or consider related branches like IT or CS&Engg in mid-tier institutes.
Hi Krish
The specific syllabus in any degree depends on college to college and you should go to your college website (if you are not in college you can go to the website of your dream/target college). At your college website, you will most probably find the specific syllabus you needed as most colleges upload their syllabus online. I f not, then you can ask your HOD/teachers to tell the details of the syllabus and share any PDF if available.
Moreover, these are the subjects that are generally taught in B.Sc(CS):
1. Programming in C/C++ 2. Data Structures 3. Computer Networks 4. DBMS 5. Operating Systems 6. Web Development 7. Python/ Java 8. Mathematics (Discrete/ Linear Algebra)
You can find more information about B.Sc(CS) here: B.SC Computer Science by Careers360
Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!
