To get admission in M.Tech government colleges you have to qualify the GATE examination .GATE stands Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
It consists of 65 questions of 100 marks. The types.of questions asked in GATE is MCQ's and NAT.

If you are going through the Tag of NIT than it's is not worthy for you to take admission in NIT Sikkim as the placement records of NIt Sikkim is not so great. Only 60+ -(5)%  students get placement. And the avg. package of CSE is 6 lakhs
