I got 86.05 percentile in jee main 2020 and my cast is genral(EWS) so I am eligible to get admission in Nirma University in cs?

Hello harsh

To get admission in CSE in Nirma University you need less than 26535 AIR. And with 86.05 you will get a rank more than 50k so it's really hard that you will get CSE in Nirma University.

what is the cutoff at IIIT hyd cs?

Usually to get into IIIT-H, you need rank under 500. Last year CSE at IIIT-H closed at general category rank of 1059 with 99.9188 percentile.  For more cutoff and other details check this link

Hi dear,

See the thing is in 92 percentile your rank would be around 89665-90000. And in that rank you cannot get admission in top NITs  or IIITs with CS branch there are some other good colleges in which you can get admission and those are:-

Hi Aryan,

You can compute your rank from the below mentioned formula:

(100-percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the no. Of candidates appeared for Jan session exam.

Your rank will be around 11731

Suppose the no. of candidates goes upto 1200000 then just change 869010 to 1200000 and compute your rank. It

Yes the private colleges are the only option for you because with this marks you can not able to get any nit and also you are not eligible for the jee advance.  So you should go for those institutions who can accept this kind of percentile.

Apart from this, there are several private colleges such as BIT, BITS, VIT, KITEE, SNU, etc..

For general category candidates, to get admission in B.Tech around 25000 to 30000 rank is needed. For reserved category candidates, cutoff is around 35000 to 40000. For muslim candidates cutoff is around 50000. For muslim female candidates cutoff is around 60000-80000.

Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) does not offer any course in Diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
Although it does offer diploma in electrical and civil engineering.

No, you can not get any  NIT or IIIT with CSE branch with the percentile you' have got. With an 83.22 percentile, you can expect your rank to be around 100,000 to 135,000. You will qualify for JEE Advanced though and have still got your second Mains exam
