Hello there, 1. Chances for Government Engineering Colleges in Odisha (CSE Branch)
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla
Cutoff for CSE: Below 1,50,000 (General category).
Difficult with 83.4 percentile unless category reservation applies.
CET Bhubaneswar (College of Engineering and Technology)
Cutoff for CSE: Within 1,80,000 for General category.
Possible for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Berhampur
Cutoff for CSE: Around 2,00,000 rank.
Possible with your rank depending on seat availability. 2. Reservation Category Impact
SC/ST/OBC/EWS Candidates: Higher chances of securing a seat in government colleges.
General Category: Chances are lower, especially for CSE in top colleges. 3. Counseling and Admission
Admission is conducted through OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) counseling based on JEE Main rank.
Participate in OJEE counseling and apply for various rounds to maximize chances. 4. Backup Options
Consider branches like IT, ECE, or Electrical Engineering if CSE is not available.
Look for private engineering colleges in Odisha that accept JEE Main scores.
For exact cutoffs and counseling updates, refer to the OJEE website after results.
Hii There,
I hope you are doing well.

Hello,
Yes, your granddaughter can join M.Sc Computer Science or MCA after completing her BCA final year .
M.Sc Computer Science Usually requires a B.Sc in Computer Science/IT or a related field, but some colleges accept BCA graduates too.
BCA graduates are fully eligible for MCA . Some universities may require Mathematics in 12th or Graduation .
She should check the specific college/university eligibility criteria before applying. Being from the BC category , she may also get reservation benefits in admissions.
Hope it helps !
The subject eligibility for BCA Admission is to have Maths compulsorily at 10+2 level with computer science or application being optional subject.
You are not eligible for admission into BCA course since you don't have mathematics at 10+ 2 level. Having or not having computer applications in 10-2 doesn't affect admission into BCA.
Hi Pavan, to become a Junior Engineer(JE) in BESCOM, you need to possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Degree: B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) or B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institution in Karnataka.

The chapter-wise weightage for Class 12 Computer Science varies between different education boards. For the CBSE board, the distribution is as follows:
Unit I: Computational Thinking and Programming – 2 : 40 marks
Unit II: Computer Networks : 10 marks
Unit III: Database Management : 20 marks
This totals to a 70-mark theory paper, with an additional 30 marks allocated for practical assessments.
If you have taken computer science as your subject, you should appear for the gate exam in Computer Science(CS). GATE offers different papers based on disciplines and you must choose the one relevant to your subject. You cannot give a different GATE paper unless it's related to your degree
If you have taken Computer Science as a subject, you will have to give the exam for Computer Science. GAT (General Aptitude Test) is usually a separate exam and may not be a substitute for your subject-specific exam.
It depends on the exam rules of the institute or university you are applying to.
