Could you specify the particular exam in which the student has got 1,08,000 rank and which college you are planning to take admission in? Although, the Computer Science engineering branch is very competitive than any other branch like AI/ML, Mechanical etc. So with a rank of 1,08,000

Can i get in integrated bsc hons msc cs ai ds with jee mains

Prachi Kumari 11th Jun, 2025

Hello,

No, you cannot get admission to an Integrated B.Sc. (Hons) + M.Sc. in CS/AI/DS course through JEE Main in most colleges.

JEE Main is mainly for B.E./B.Tech courses in engineering colleges like NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs . For integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. courses, colleges conduct their own entrance exams

OISHEE BANERJEE 13th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you can get into integrated B.Sc (Hons) + M.Sc programs in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science through JEE Main, but such courses are available only in a few selected institutions.

One popular example is IIIT Hyderabad, which offers a dual degree program—basically a B.Tech combined

My Rank is around 16000 in JEE Mains , I can get cs in many NITs but I am also interested in designing . Is industrial design at rourkela a good option. (I was never interested in computer/coding)

gopi 10th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If your rank in JEE Mains is 16000 you're not out of the woods for getting Computer Science in some NITs. But as you said "I'm not really interested in coding or about anything that is computers" it is reasonable to look somewhere else.
If you like designing,

B.Tech CS is better than B.Sc CS for research and higher studies because:

Preferred for M.Tech, MS, PhD
