Dear student,
If you are retaining your josaa seat, then you have to give only Rs. 2000 as participation fees for participating in csab special round counseling.
Otherwise, if you are participating in csab special round, then you have to give a pay participation fees of Rs. 37000 ( for general/ews/obc ) or Rs. 17000 (for sc/pwd/st candidates) via online mode on the CSAB portal.
Now, out of this fees, Rs. 2000 is processing charges, and is non refundable.
Now, if you do not got allotted any seat in csab even on 2nd special round, then your participation fees amount will be refunded after deducting a processing fees of Rs. 2000 . And you will get back your rest amount within 3 to 4 working days or before.

Hello abhishek ,
With the above rank , It will become very much difficult for you to get any seat in any college through CSAB councelling as your rank is likely to be very less.
Although you can try your admission as per home state quota OR you can also look for any private colleges .
For more information regarding your admission chances, according to your rank and percentile score , you can check out the college predictor tool here :

I hope that this will help.
Hello aspirant,
I hope you are doing well and good.
According to your rank and category , you can try for many iiit's like pune , bhagalpur , una , surat , kalyani etc , otherwise you can try for your home state amd medium nit also same is the case with north eastern nit's , the cutoff is generally lesser . Some good colleges like bit mesra and pec chandigarh also participate in csab, so you can get a decent branch like production and metallurgy , in them .
Do apply for home state counselling also as you can get some good state government engineering colleges in your state . Hence do apply for the csab round and state government counselling and you might get a good college .
Hope it Helps .

Dear aspirant,
It depends on which nits are you talking about. There are total of 31 nits and it varies accordingly so it varies with specific nits. If you are choosing nits like Nagaland, mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Agartala, sringar so it may go low till 3-4 L for home state in general category but it you are taking up nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut then there is no much difference in general category in the csab rounds .
