CSAB
Hi aspirant, if candidates have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category candidates should have obtained at least 40% aggregate marks. Now at this point it doesn't matter from which state the candidate belongs it doesn't matter at all.
Thank You.
In this case you do not need to pay any other fee other than registration fee for csab which is non refundable and you can sit in csab if you get a seat in round 1 then also you need not to pay any seat acceptance fee and you can either accept your seat, withdraw or participate in 2nd round but iin 2nd round the seat will be binding to you and you will not get any fee refunded if you do not take admission after round 2 but if you withdraw from round 1 you will get the refund also if you do not get any seat in csab then your josaa seat will prevail
hello,
CSAB Special Rounds the vacant home state seats are converted into all india quota seats, i.e the seats become open to all
Here, in CSAB rounds the CRL Rank is considered rathar than that of Category Rank.
However, the reservation seats are to be filled up by the reserved candidates and not by General/UR. The Rank may go very below for SC/ST/OBC candidates than that of UR candidates.
Hello Student
CSAB means Central seat allocation board which converts the jossa rank to all India rank for the remaining seats. The seats which are converted jossa rank after the 7th round of counselling the number of seats are converted into to all India rank where anyone from requisite qualification and eligibility can appear for the vacant seats. This type of conversion is done after the JEE main rank holder candidate is not found to fill up the vacant seats in JoSAA counselling after the 7th round.
Hope this helps.
yes, fees is refunded ,withdrawal option is available but only till the announcement of Round 6. After that , you can’t withdraw your seat.
On withdrawal of your seat , a processing charge of Rs 1500 is deducted and you will get the remaining amount refunded. If You lose your allotted seat andthen u are out of the system of JoSAA.
these moneys are just like security…so that any seat may not remain vacant..
CSAB is a counselling organized by central seat allocation board which provides counselling on the leftover seats after the josaa counselling you have to register for csab counselling in order to participate in it and the fee for such registration is different for different types of candidates which you can see from the information brouchre of csab there are two rounds in this counselling after 1st round you will have the option to withdraw your seat but after 2nd round whichever seat you have got will be binding on you and you will have to take admission in that college if you do not do so then your fee will not be refunded so this is the brief of csab counselling in full detail you can refer csab information brouchre
Hello Aspirant,
See on such EWS rank you have no chance to get any of the college neither through JOSAA counselling nor through CSAB counselling. This is because the closing EWS rank for colleges in JOSAA counselling was around 12-13k.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

You don't need to worry about that there is some special type of counselling for north east students in which you cannot apply as you are not from north east the general counselling procedure will soon begin and there you will be able to apply for csab counselling by registering on the site.
I think that both are different in csab all candidates across india can participate but in csab neut only north eastern state and union territory students can participate There are eight North-Eastern states are involved in CSAB NEUT 2021 includes Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Sikkim & Tripura. Since both counselling are different so you can participate in both separately but if you are not from neut's then you should participate in csab counselling special round only as it is better for you
See there is no any specific counselling process for south students, if you belong to any southern state then you have to normally participate in the JOSAA counselling and if you do not get seat their then you can go for CSAB counselling.
It seems that you are confused with the CSAB NEUT counselling so see CSAB NEUT is the counselling/seat allotment process conducted by CSAB for the candidates having the domicile of 12 North-Eastern states and Union Territories namely :-
Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, and Daman & Diu
As of now CSAB NEUT 2021 registrations have been started from November 6th and it will end on November 19th so if you belongs to any of the above mentioned state then you should register yourself as soon as possible and you can check out complete schedule of CSAB NEUT counselling and other details about it from the link given below :-
