As per josaa rules if a candidate CT scan sailed then he will get refund the seat acceptance fees for general candidate 36500 of rupees and for SC ST and OBC 16000 rupees. If you do not pay the partial admission fees then your seat also be cancelled

So the 2020 rules states that

Even if you don't pay seat acceptance fees in JOSAA counselling you are eligible for CSAB special round. But You will have to pay special round participation fee for CSAB according to their guidelines.

CSAB Special Round participating candidates MUST pay participation fee(of Rs.

37000/- for GEN, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL and Rs. 17000/- for SC, ST, PwD candidates) through online mode by clicking the link

There is no change in fee structure for candidates taking admission through csab if you do not participate in josaa then you can get nit/iiit/gfti by participating in csab if you get a seat you will have to go through document verification and you will have to pay a fee
