I got CSC in shastra University. please suggest is it good for CSC.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 23rd Aug, 2021

Sastra University is one of the most preferred and relied university in India. So if you get a seat there then you are in a good environment of studies. But frankly its not that much good as VIT. But compared to other top universities such as SRM, Galgotia, Chandigarh University etc its quite good in terms of infrastructure, placements and curriculum. So if you are really enthusiastic about the course then Sastra University will give you enough opportunity to explore the subject as well as to get a job in the core field. So don't worry about such things and focus on the score you will surely get quality education as well as good placement opportunities.

how to calculate cut off for CBSE commerce? My subjects include eng, B.st, Acc, CSC and Eco.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 31st Aug, 2021
Hello,

For admission in DU you have to use your best 4 subject marks for admission. You will have to take one language paper which will be English and then apart from from English you can choose any 3 subjects in which you have scored the most marks. For example if you scored 94 in English, 88 in Accounts, 92 in Economics and 90 in Business Studies. Then you need to add the total marks
( 94+88+92+90 = 364) and the percentage will be 364/4= 91%. Based on your percentage and your category, you will get admission in any college.

I hope this helps.

I got 71.5 percentage in 12th and 342289 rank in jee main. can I get a seat in a government college in the CSC branch?

Nitya 28th Sep, 2021
Hello,
Looking at the cutoff trends, with this rank in JEE mains 2021 you have no chances of getting a seat in government colleges. As i assuming you are from general category and this score is not sufficient to get you a seat there.

However you can expect a seat in some private colleges for CSE. Here is the list of some of those colleges.

  • Mahavir Swami Institute of Technology
  • DITM - Delhi Institute Of Technology And Manag
  • Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal
  • Sagar Institute of Science, Technology and Engineering
