The students must have appeared for Online Entrance Exam conducted by the CSJM University.

As soon as the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam was cancelled, all the admission procedure of the government colleges in Uttar Pradesh has shifted to Joint Entrance Examination (Main) or JEE (Main), strictly through merit.

So, now all the colleges which used to use UPSEE to fill their B.Tech seats, will now take admission through JEE (Main), including CSJM University, Kanpur.

One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. A student can pursue two degrees in different streams as well as from different institutions.

As per recent UGC guidelines  candidates can now pursue two degree courses simultaneously but the only condition is one has to be done through regular mode and another through distance mode, hence if you want to follow this route of two degree courses you're eligible to do so, make sure the both the medium are different that is one through regular and another through distance mode.
