I am getting seat in both, DAIICT and SVNIT. Where should I confirm my seat?

Pakshal Ghiya 29th Nov, 2020

First of all congratulations for your brilliant achievement.

If you want to stay in Gujarat, DAIICT is your go to option for studying Computer Engineering.

The proffs are great, the environment is wonderful as well as competitive giving you the chance to develop and culture here is awesome for someone who wants make all round development of its self.

Also SVNIT is not known for CS course and there are many other NITS like one in Warangal or Surathkal which has excellent CE program. So if you are hell bent on NITs pick one of these instead of SVNIT. And DAIICT is always a good option to have of you dont get admission in any of these.

All The Best.

How much I need to score in Gujarat Board and GUJCET Exam to get an admission at DAIICT?

Pakshal Ghiya 14th Nov, 2020

Hello Candidate,

DAIICT is a one of the premium institute of the Gujarat and it is a first choice of students so compition is is more here and you have to work hard  than others to get an admission into the DAIICT.

There is no any particular formula by which we can tell how much marks needed for that,

But as per the previous year's cutoffs your Rank should be 300-400. So equivalently your marks in the boards should be greater than 90 in all subjects and total GUJCET score should be above 100 Marks.

All The Best.

Which is better SVNIT computer engineering or DAIICT for ICT?

Debdeep Pramanik 14th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

Both DAIICT and SVNIT is best in its own way. DAIICT has great placements, great academics , experienced faculties.  Infrastructure is good enough. Placements in DAIICT are excellent. In ICT stream nearly 80% of students get placed. But comparing it with CSE in SVNIT, SVNIT will be somehow better as here almost over 90% students gets placement and average package offered is also better than ICT in DAIICT. In the last year highest package offered to a CSE student of SVNIT of 39 LPA, which is quite good.

Now if you consider on campus placement as your parameter you should go for CSE in SVNIT. But in term of infrastructure, academics DAIICT would be a good choice.

Hope it would be helpful.

My rank is 783, will I get admission into DAIICT?

Debdeep Pramanik 12th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

You haven't mentioned in which entrance examination you have scored this, also haven't mentioned your quota. Considering it as GUJCET and quota as unreserved or general category it's quite difficult to get branches like B.Tech Information And Communication Technology and B.Tech (Hons.) Computational Sciences in second round of counseling as well. To get admission in Hons. in ICT with Minor in Computational Sciences (CS) is also quite hard. If you belong to EWS, ST or SC you can get a seat in these branches.

For cutoff in several Colleges through GUJCET Click Here .

Hope it would be helpful.

That means that you have to score above 200 in jee mains for that.

In nirma university , the closing rank.for btech is around 18k which means you have to score above 150.

can i get in daiict with the wait list no 202

Apoorva Mishra 6th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant, it seems difficult to get into daiict with waiting list of 202. The overall scenario depends on how many people drop off from the counseling. They provide waiting list to huge people but the students find it difficult to get their favourable courses. Last to last year student with waiting list no 50 got into daiict and was the last second one to make into the college. So you apply for other colleges as well for a safer option. All the best.

I have applied for DAIICT and today the first merit list was going to be announced. I got a message asking to pay an amount of 63000Rs from DAIICT and when I opened the link there was 43000 as tution fees 2,0000 as caution money. is this mean that I have been alotted a seat in DAIICT

Apoorva Mishra 6th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant, the tuition fees of daiict is 86k per semester and 20k is the caution money which is one time payment which is refundable at last. If the message you received is from official page, then check the merit list. If your name is there in it as well as the rank is mentioned then only pay the fees.  For more information you can check the article below. https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/daiict-btech-fee-structure Hope this was helpful.
