Data Science is a job that performs analysis of data, Artificial Intelligence is a tool for creating better products and imparting them with autonomy.

Data Science is the complex study of the large amounts of data in a company or organization’s repository. This study includes where the data has originated from, the actual study of its content matter, and how this data can be useful for the growth of the company in the future.

Artificial Intelligence is a field of study that gives computers the capability to learn without being explicitly programmed. Artificial Intelligence is applied using Algorithms to process the data and get trained for delivering future predictions without human intervention.

You can opt the field in which you are interested, but if  i have to suggest you, I will suggest you that you should go with AI.

In CSE you have a lot of subjects and variables of topics. So the primary reason which is considered is that if you want to know more about a specific part of CSE then specialization is great.

For example, you have interest in CSE but you really like the portion of Artificial Intelligence then you can go for the specialization in AI.

But in general most student don't exactly know how is the essence of the subject in real life. For example we all know about robotics but in robotics we have various parameters which we have to learn and not only building it. Thus I always suggest that if you are sure about a field of specialization is what you want to do then go for BTECH CSE specialization else its better for you to go for CSE.

Taking the wrong specialization can be very frustrating for any student. So you should either be sure or don't take it else. You can know about any specialization by searching on internet or by seeing the curriculum of a university you want to take admission in. If you think that you will enjoy studying it then go for it else you go for CSE.

Remember CSE will give you a broad perspective and you have enough job opportunity in it. So don't go for specializations being not so sure.

Dear candidate, Computer Science Engineering is a very satisfying stream and if you additionally get Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning then it adds up more advantage to your course. Firstly there is a typo, it would be Machine Learning. See both the courses are good but if you see the recent developments in AI and Machine Learning then you will find a lot of application in Neural networking which have applications in Robotics and Data Mining. Now if you have Data Science then you get a edge to the industry in the R&D and modelling of data sectors. so both the fields have a lot of employability, and both of the graduates works in hand in hand. So if you wish to go for the courses then you can choose any of the two and you will be able to work in any sector. Now if you are more inclined towards Robotics then you will have a more interest in AI and ML and for you it would be better to choose AI&ML.
