Data Science
Hello,
As we all know that now there have been a lot of new branches are introduced in BE/ B.Tech Engineering so the above mentioned branch is also one of the Sub-branch of the core branch CSE, but seeing at your i would definitely say that you should try for it because the rank which you have gained is quite impressive and surely you have z very high chance of getting it because it is has been a new branch so the competition is less compare to CSE. So your try id very must.
Thank you..
Hi Praveen,
The answer to your question could have been more specific had you given options of other universities to compare with. Nevertheless, speaking generally, the online data science course created by IIT Madras has a fantastic curriculum, but at the same time a big problem lies in the fact that it is online and is a bit expensive compared to other online courses. Also, they have specified that they provide job assistance and not job guarantee.
Another demerit of online courses is that, you'll lack a proper communication with your faculty and peers which prohibits good networking. This point could still have been taken down had they lowered down the fees or provided at least job assurance.
Keeping all these points in mind, I feel, taking up the course might not be such a wise decision. Perhaps you can browse other online courses, free YouTube tutorials and wait and see how their placement goes and based on that you can actually take up the course in future.

Hi,
Although both R and Python programming language are beneficial to become a data scientist but it is not necessary to learn R programming language if you have knowledge of Python programming language.
Python is most widely used in this field and the best language to learn if you want to become a data scientist. It is open source and easy to use and will grab you with the most job opportunities.
Whereas, R programming language is also open source but is typically used for statistical computing and graphics and it is more complex to learn as compared to Python.

Hi aspirant,
Manipal institute of technology is well known for its engineering courses and world class infrastructure. In Data science study related to vast volumes of data using modern tools and techniques to find unseen patterns, derive meaningful information, and optimise business output. While deals with networking and communication along with a few modules of CSE.
In my opinion you should definitely go for data science as it has wider scopes. The recent growth of technology has ensure that proper management and analysis of database is key to compete with the needs of people. It has higher packages as compared to CCE which is newly introduced and still growing.
Congratulation as you are doing this great!
Now Presidency as well as JAIN both are know institute in India. Thus differentiating between them can be a bit controversial. If you ask me what to join then I would recommend to get into CSE DATA Science. This is because the program is very well designed as well as industry relevant. So you will get enough scope in both analytics as well as Data management. But if you go for Big data then you will specialize more on analytics. Thus if you are interested in analytics then go for it no problem. But if you want to keep a wide range of options open for you then I would recommend you to go for CSE Data Science. In this case, I am not comparing the college but the subject has enough potential to easily differentiate this two cases.

Well a data analyst is a person who analyses millions of data to extract useful data and information and data scientist is the job where people decide new inventions and methods to make the role and duties of data analyst more easy. If you want then you can go for either of them depending on your choice of interest. Also doing a B.Tech is always better because enginnering is a professional degree course as compared to bsc which is academic and getting good placements are a must when doing engineering as compared to bsc.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
The future of bioinformatics and data science is increasing day by day, and it is very important in the field of biomedical research. This field has a great demand in India and abroad, also is one of the high paying sectors. Starting salary will be ranging from 3 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum, keeps changing as per your expertise.
Hello student
hope you are doing great. As per your query I would glad to inform you that data science is not a stream ,it is subfield of computer science(kind of specialization) . Degrees are mostly done in streams where subjects are data science ,AI are taught so that student can have muitple options to adopt in carreir . In online data science course, they mainly focus on data science only so the duration is short but the sylllabus is same ,infact online course makes your fundamentals very strong
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
