Data Science
Hi Aspirant!
I would suggest you either to go for upgradation for your required seat or you can sit for category-2. Other than this, if you specifically want CSE in your interested stream, you can try for VIT Chennai or any other campus (but it will not be worth).
If you still do not get your desired seat after upgradation, I would suggest you to look for any other college.
Thankyou!
Hello,
As per the latest trends, Data science is the most prestigious field to pursue and has a great job market with a handsome salary. A data scientist is the highest-paid among all the options you've mentioned. Talking about Petroleum engineering, you need to have good and in-depth knowledge about the petroleum industry, a strong background in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with you need to have interactive skills. Petroleum also earns well but not more than in data science.
The growth rate in the aerospace engineer is somewhat slow but the demand is very high. The salary range also differs.
Taking The best among three is the "DATA SCIENCE". you should go with Data science for a better future.
Hope you understand.
Thank you!
No! In general the course pattern remains the same only some papers are added related to your specialization. So dont think of like there will be some reduction in syllabus, you will read somethings more in details of Data Science than the normal CSE ones.
To be sure you can check the curriculum of your university.
I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Dear Aspirant,
This is a common dilemma in students who have completed Btech. Choosing between MS and Mtech is entirely based on what you want to do in the future.
If you wish to acquire a core tech job or a senior developer job, then a degree like Mtech will be more beneficial.
Whereas if you wish to acquire a job related to data analysis and machine learning, a degree like MS would be more beneficial.
Both the degrees are equally good in their scopes. You can choose whichever one you prefer.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
As per previous years records, there are decent chances that you can get CSE in VIT Vellore campus under category-1. But as we know that trend changes every year depending on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, number of candidates appeared etc. So, if anyhow you do not fall under category-1 or you do not get CSE in VIT Vellore campus, then do not get disheartened as you can always sit for category2. Also, the previous years records shows that CSE setas in VIT Vellore are available upto 6k rank and IT seats upto 9k ranks. If you get CSE (hope for the best), then beased on the seats available in the specialization, you can choose as per your interest.
Hello aspirant,

Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
The three subjects you have mentioned have there own importance and three of them are equally advantageous for a student who want to pursue it as a career. All this courses have employability as well as very good career growth.
Now as you want to prioritize among this three then I would recommend the following order of selection:
Now as you know CSE have better career prospect which is undeniable. It covers a great variety of work profile thus employability is much more in this sector. As the userbase is growing in every online and offline services, managing data is one of the most important factor as well as to predict and create models from that data is a great priority point.
Thus if you are sure that you like AI and Data Science then make it your first criteria. But if you are confused but you know that you want to go for IT and programming career then I would recommend you to go for CSE. ECE have nothing bad but the industrial sectors are not that much of CSE and as most of the students don't get core field jobs in ECE then they have to move to IT with lower salaries. But if you are enthusiastic about ECE then you should go for it.
