Microsoft offers free online course but it is advised that you should get a exam done elsewhere or to come up with a project on your own to get an edge.

The average data scientists salary is 698,412. An entry-level data scientist can earn around 500,000 per annum with less than one year of experience. Early level data scientists with 1 to 4 years experience get around 610,811 per annum.

For IT sector/a good public sector/ govt, you can have a formula of 1 lakh per year of experience. Although the pattern may not be linear, end result would be same. If you're working in a large private sector, growth depends on your capabilities. Even twice or thrice could be possible. If you're working with a small private firm, you may not grow much.
