Data Science
Dear Applicant,
Bsc in computer science is all about the basic fundamentals of computers to database systems & advanced courses like C++, Java etc. You will learn alot about computers and its operation. Basically its oriented towards IT domain.
Where as your BSC in data science they teach stuff like Applied Statistics, Data Mining and Predictive Modelling Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization and Applications of Data Science in various business areas like Marketing, Retails and Supply Chain, Operations etc..
Data science is currently high in demand now is has started to spread itself in India so you have 90% assurance for job in it compared to BSC in cs.
Hope this helps abit. Good luck and all the best.
Hello
No Anits engineering college doesn't offer artificial intelligence and data science courses .
They stream they are offering are:chemical engineering, civil engineering, CS,EEE,Mechanical, ECE,and IT. In b.tech
And in m.tech the stream they offers are
Machine design, communication system,CSE,control system, soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
Good Luck
Hello Vaishali,
Data Science is becoming a very popular field in recent times hence you have chosen a good course. This course is a mixture of computer science, mathematics and a lot of statistics. Hence doing BSc Maths would be really beneficial. You could take BSc Data science in regular mode too provided the college is a highly equipped and reputed one, otherwise you may end up getting poor training and placement. So it is good to do BSc Maths in regular and take data science course online from an ivy league school if possible or any other globally reputed institute, in India IIT is also providing online course on data science. See to it that you are able to manage both together as both need a lot of time and dedication to master. You will have a great career with this stream and further you may take up masters course in pure data science to become a data scientist. Choose an online course wisely after thorough research .
Also another option for you is to take undergraduate program in Math with specialization in data science but for that you may have to go for international universities for example UNIVERSITY OF BATH,UK offers a BSc Hons in Mathematics,Statistics and Data science for 3 years starting from September 2021. There are many other universities too outside India that you can checkout.
Few options in India
Galgotias University is one institute which provides BSc in Data Science and mathematics.

B.Sc Data Science and Analytics Hons Jain University, Bangalore

All the best
Hi Aspirant.
The branch you have selected is good in all aspects .AI and Data science is trending now a days having it in course curriculum is a plus point, but college you have selected is recent one.
The placements statistics are mentioned in their official website here is the link:

All the best, Cheers!!!
Hello there, hope you are doing good!
I would like to tell you as Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai provides bachelors course in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI) you can take admission in the college. The college provides the course Btech (DSAI) from July 2020.
Hope you found this answer helpful.
Good luck for your future!
Greetings,
I would say you can prioritize these engineering streams in two categories one is scope of the stream and other is based on your interest level.
the future in CSE will be in these technologies,
AI and Machine Learning
Cyber security
Data science
Blockchain
cloud computing
if you are interested in working with communication technologies, Sensors, Microprocessors then you can choose ECE.
hope this is helpful thank you.
Dear Aspirants ,
I hope you are doing well !
BSC and BCA Data Science both are undergraduate course but in this course you will not able to get all every details of data science because data science vast course and it is mixture of such course as python ,Artificial intelligence ,Machine learning, R programming ,big data and many course .But as per tagging line both course are same opertuinitues .But as per my opinion id you interested in data science then you should go through the Btech (computer science ,information technology) where you will get all the course and subjects related to data science deeply .But if you wants go through BSC and BCA then after undergraduate course you can go through Msc /MCA in data science specialization where you will get deeply .
Hope it will helpful
Thanks
Hello Indra Pavan,
Data science is considered to be one of the fast growing sector in India itself. Talking about the scope, it does have a very good scope. data scientists are high in demand these days. After you have successfully completed your Bachelors degree, you should preferably go for masters to increase your job opportunities or you can opt as a data analyst too. This field truly have a good opportunity in the coming future and also work hard and keep up a good score and also start building your resume to even increase your chances for getting placed.
Good luck!
Yes they do but not in Data science. BCA is provided in Computer Science as a three year course.
