I am from engineering background I am doing MBA in dayanand Sagar college of engineering.but I am interested in govt jobs. I am quiting MBA for govt job preparation because studying both is difficult for me. is it a right decision ??

NAVEEN MEENA Student Expert 18th Nov, 2019

Dear Abhishek, first of all if you are confident on your decision then you should implement it. You will be working in a particular field for your rest of life so deciding which one to choose is crucial. Since your interest is in govt. job and not doing MBA you can quit that for preparation for govt job.

But, at this moment give yourself some time and think about it once again. Also, think about do you have any backup plan? Can MBA act as your backup? If you are ready with your answer then act on it and give your 100%.

If both these - preparation & MBA- are not managable then it's your decision which one to choose i.e. Govt job. Working anywhere without interest is just waste of time so, go with your area of interest with proper planning as you are already doing MBA.

All the best

Hope this helps

I am studying civil engineering from dsce bangluru -2nd sem but it is very far away from my home town. can I change my college and keeping the same course in 2nd year? if yes, please guide me. name some colleges in North side and way to get into its 2nd year

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 17th Oct, 2019
Hello.
Yes! you definitely can change your college after 1st year and you directly can have entry in second year for this you need to  have  at least 75% in your 1st year examination, and you have to take NOC from your college and NOC from that college in which you are going to have admission.
THIS PROCEDURE IS CALLED TAKING LATERAL ENTERY.
You can search for some colleges in North India side by going on the below link:

Feel free to ask any query in the comment section.
Best of luck.

Vishwaksen Gouda Student Expert 26th Sep, 2019
Hello Abhishek,
You secured 600 rank in the pgcet it is a good achievement .
According to your query about the Dayanand institute. Yes it is a good choice where you can pursue your MBA course
Institutions having a good relationship with industry ensure that students get an opportunity to execute industry relevant organisational projects. With the introduction of semester system from the year 2003, teaching has changed and the burden on a student is reduced, making room for more creativity in learning and fostering potentialities of the individual pupil and his interested needs and aptitudes.

can i change form civil to ec in dsce change of course

Ashish Pal Student Expert 10th Sep, 2019

Hello Bharat.

Yes you can switch to ec from civil easily.

But for this you have to fullfill eligibility criteria for college like you should not have any backlog and your percentage or cpi should be also 75+ in first year.

In addition to this few colleges have some attendance criteria also for the same.

Ok
