As far as I know there are two hostels for Boys in Dayanand College of Engineering.The hostel is well maintained with regular maintenance and cleaning, taking all the necessary precautions. The food was served in two messes,one for south Indian food and one for north indian. As far as the question regarding how many students will be there in a room is concerned I am not really sure but I think two students will share a room(however you can take a room in NRI hostel where they can give you a single seater but they will take higher fees). The best college for CSE course among these two would be MVIT as the cutoff for MVIT is less compared to NIE and SIT which suggests that there would be better students in that college and thus you would get a better environment to study. Also, the placement record of MVIT is a little better than NIE as it is located in Bengaluru city and thus more companies visit there for placements.

Also,  bms, nmit, dsce and rv College has high cutoff rank. So, you will not get CSE or ECE in that colleges.

If you have the skills and the company you are applying for have a position for you, that is, not with a branch restriction, then surely you can apply there and do that internship provided that you are selected.

However, some companies do not take students from other streams, so make sure that you are applying where there is no such restrictions.

Though COMEDK is an entrance exam for admission to Other State Candidates as well, because the Colleges that you have mentioned are in Karnataka and you are from West Bengal, you might not be eligible for any fee reimbursements. But every college has need based and merit based scholarships that it offers to its students. For that you will have to reach out to the administration of these Colleges once you join the college.
