Explain about Deemed universities?

AKSHAYA.V.A. 20th Oct, 2020

Hello!

Deemed universities are similar private universities. Not many deemed universities would be recognized for your placements. Deemed universities will be more costlier than private institutions. For Example VIT(Vellore Institute of technology, SRM) these are deemed universities and private institutions are like Vel Tech Multi Tech etc. Whereas there is an another set of institutions, they are government colleges and government affiliated collages they are more recognized than deemed. Hope my answer was helpful.

hi sir i got 290 in neet 2020 and i m OBC category state tamilnadu. Can i get mbbs in deemed universities

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Oct, 2020

With a score of 290, you might have to participate in Stray Vacany Round because this is a tad less for Management Quota seats as well. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. As you belong to Karnataka state you have plenty options for private medical colleges as state have most number of private medical in india. Also you are from Karnataka then you must have domicile of Karnataka. You can also apply for government seats in the private colleges and most probably you might grab a seat. You can check the cout off rank for different colleges from the link below

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka/amp

Best private medical colleges in karnataka are

1.dr.b.r Ambedkar medical college

2.m.s Ramaiah medical college

3.kiims

4.vydehi medical college

5.st. John's medical college

6. KMC manglore

these are some best college

if you compare k.s hedge and jss then both the colleges have good reputation at there respective place.fees of both colleges are almost same and academic are also better of both colleges. According to your comfortablity for traveling and all you might make decision. From my suggestion you can go for jss Mysore it is better.

Why am I unable to reset registration in round 2 of all india counseling. Actually I havent filled deemed universities in round 1. But I want to fill deemed universities in round 2 and I am ready to pay the fees. How can I do it so..help please

Mrinalini Sarkar 20th Nov, 2020

Hello,

I do not think there is a way to reset your registration as you are already a registered candidate. As you have mentioned your query you can use your previous credentials to apply for round 2 and there you can choose your preferences. And I also do not think that you need to pay again. I hope this would work otherwise if you want to register as a fresh candidate then you would have to forfeit your security money.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.
