I loose this year cet paper so I want to persue 5years Integrated course which I will start from next year. but now I want to know that can I take BA at open University for three years along with my next year regular 5year llb degree , is there any provision against it . bA and 5LLB sepreate course

pdwords Student Expert 23rd Sep, 2021

Hello,

As per UGC norms you can pursue two degree courses simultaneously however one is to be done through distance mode and another through regular mode, now integrated law course cannot be done through distance mode as it's not recognized by bar council of India, hence you have to opt for it in regular mode, however I want to say that BA-LLB as a program in itself is an amalgamation of arts discipline that with law, so there is no need to pursue BA differently even through distance mode, the rest is up to you.

ba pass40% obc with masters degree elegbale for llb admission 2021

pdwords Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2021

Hello,

Generally the eligibility criteria to pursue LLB is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing 45%-50% aggregate, depending upon the norms of the university, if you belong to OBC-NCL then you come under reserved category otherwise OBC is considered as general, there is usually relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, so if you wish to apply for any universities then you should check outs its eligibility criteria first, and then proceed further.

i am completed diploma civil engineering and i can join after diploma in degree b.com

Rohit Magdum 23rd Sep, 2021
Dear aspirant,

Why not? The only criteria for joining a graduation program like B.Com is that you must have completed 10+2 (maths is absolutely necessary, although I have seen few private colleges accepting Bio students as well) with 50% marks (it may vary with different institutions and universities). In your case, you have studied Mathematics in your diploma program so admission wouldn't be the problem.

Hopefully this will help you.
Thank you.

Yes, aided UG course offered by autonomous college approved by UGC degree is valid. It doesn't really matter whether you have completed a degree from aided government college or others.  Aided colleges is nothing but just college which gets support from the government. Sai Kiran K 13th Aug, 2021

Hi Bhavya,

As you are seeking Engineering program after Bachelor of science in Electronics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Definitely you can pursue as any engineering through lateral entry process. B.Sc is of 3 years course duration and Engineering program duration is for 4 years. The Lateral Entry Examinations are held state wise. Some of the examinations are

  • APECET.
  • TSECET.
  • Haryana LEET.
  • WB JELET.
  • LPUNEST.
  • UPCET.

This are state entrance examinations for lateral entry. After completion of B.Sc you will be placed in second year of Engineer which again takes 3 years to complete the course. Instead you can opt for Masters in Computer Science program which is of 2 years course duration. Eligibility for Lateral entrance examinations are 60% aggregate in 3 - year degree or diploma in any stream. So take a wise decision before opting for any of the above programs. All the best for you career. Hope you find this information helpful.
