I have scored 81.3% in du jat and 80.25% in best of four subjects. Are there any chances of getting admission in any college through du jat?

Raji_49 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hi Khushi,

In order to obtain a seat inn colleges under DU JAT a candidate must secure at least 85% in DU JAT entrance examination. Therefore your chances are quite difficult only. Try applying with your 12th marks also to increase your chances of admission as it is very difficult trying only with you DU JAT score.

These are the few good colleges under DU

Shaheed sukhdev college of business studies

Deen dayal Upadhyay college

Keshav Mahavidhhyalaya

Sri guru  gobind singh college of commerce

Sri guru tegbahadur khalsa college

Ramanujan college

My du jat percentile is 94.305 , with 88.75% ,best four in 12th.Can I get college under BBE ? I belongs to general category.

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019
Hello,
Basesd upon the marks that you have scored in DU JAT and 10+2 you have good chances for getting admission for BBE in some of the top colleges under DU.The overall rank is provided on the basis of -
1)DU JAT score-65% weightage
2)10+2 percentage-35% weightage
Now the cutoff change every year and it is difficult to predict them. But since you have a good score you have got pretty good chances of admission.Previously there were GD, PI and WAT rounds which have been scrapped off from the examination system. Now the competition has increased and totally based upon merit.
Check this link to know the cutoff trend of previous year http://www.www.google.com/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-cutoff/amp.
Thank you.

My marks in class 12 best four is 61 percent and percentile in du jat is 87.1064768 .I belong to OBC.can I get admission in bms,bba or bbe?

Anjali Tanwar 20th Jul, 2019
Hello Sajid,
If we see last year's result of DU JAT then you have a chance of getting admission in BAMS ( Bachelor of management studies) in colleges like
  • College of vocational studies
  • Maharaja agrasen college
  • Dr. Bhimrao Rai Ambedkar college
You can get admission in these colleges in obc category.
But again as we know that cutoffs vary every year and hence seat cannot be assured.
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!

In DU JAT,WHAT IS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SC CATEGORY?? MINIMUM 55% AGGREGATE IN 4 SUBJECTS OR 55% IN EACH OF THE FOUR SUBJECTS???

Sourav Sarkar Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As per the eligibility criteria of DU JAT, the minimum percentage requirement for the reserved category, namely SC, ST, CW, and PwD category candidates was 55 percent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate.(i.e not in aggregate rather you have to secure that muchmmatks in individual papers).

Thank You & All the best!

I have got 94.45 percentile in du jat and have 66 % percent in class 12 belonging to EWS category .Is there any chances to get admission??

Muskan Shukla 20th Jul, 2019

Hi Candidate! For the seat in Delhi University one should have to secure marks 90 percentage in DUJAT as well as in respective 12th exam. So your 12th marks are low that's why you may have to face difficulty for that. Try for counselling process may be your luck works and will get any college in Delhi University.

Thanks.
