Without updated SC certificate will I get admission or not in Du jat

Muskan Shukla 20th Jul, 2019

Hi Candidate! The reservation criteria changes every year for the castes. That's why universities and colleges under state/central control require your updated caste certificate. Similarly, Delhi University also requires you to submit SC caste certificate duly updated by the concerned authorities.

Hope it helps you.

Thanks.

Ramsha_1482736792 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019
Hell aspirant,
The appearing candidate should have cleared Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other class 12 equivalent examination from any board/recognized institute, university. Candidates belonging to general category should have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12.
As per the eligibility criteria ofDU JAT2019, the minimum percentage requirement for the reserved category, namely SC, ST, CW, and PwD category candidates was 55 percent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate.

Hello,

Sorry to say but the best of four percentage that you have proivded does not fulfill the eligibility criteria for DU JAT.The criteria is something like this :-

  • Students should have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
  • Candidates from general category should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks with Maths and English as the compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates from SC,ST,CW and PwD category should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in each of the four papers.
  • Candidates from OBC(non creamy layer) should have obtained a minimum of 54 % marks each of the four papers.
  • OBC candidates have 10% relaxation in the minimum eligibility marks for DU JAT

I have got 74.6 percentileand my class 12 board exam % was 90.25.is there any chance of getting admission?

Muskan Shukla 20th Jul, 2019

Hi Candidate! If you are from unreserved category then it is difficult for you to get a seat in Delhi University because general category student have to secure above than 90 percentage in DUJAT as well as in 12th exam. But if you are from reserved category then you may have rare chance of getting a college not a decent chance.

Hope it helps you.

Thanks.

Darshita Shukla 20th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant!

I am sorry to tell you but with 75.2 percentile in DU JAT and 73% in class 12th, I don't think you will be eligible for any colleges in Delhi University. I would advice you to look up some other colleges for admission. I hope this information was helpful!

I wish you all the very best!
