Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune
Hi Rabiya,
PUMBA strictly follows the DTE rules for its admission process of MBA.
For Maharashtra candidates, students have to qualify MH-CET exam. For Outside Maharashtra Candidates (OMS), students can apply through CMAT/CAT/MH-CET.
After the exam is conducted, DTE conducts CAP rounds where you will be allotted as per your rank in the qualifying entrance exam.
Before you apply for the entrance exams, make sure you fulfill the following criteria for admission in PUMBA or DMS, Pune (it is the same):
You need to be a Graduate in any discipline from UGC/AICTE/AIU recognized University/Institution or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) AND minimum of work 3 years experience at managerial / Executive level after results declaration of Graduation Examination till the date of application. Work experience obtained only after graduation results will be considered.

thank you
good luck
Hi Gouri, PUMBA's last year cutoff was 93.739 percentile. Therefore, with 85.12 percentile, I don't think that you can make it to PUMBA. You can wait and appear for the next MH-CET if you really want to get into PUMBA only. If you want to study this year, there are other good colleges too. You can have a look at the list of the colleges in this link: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/mah-cet-cutoff
Good Luck!
Hi Ninad, PUMBA takes admission through MH-CET and for students outside Maharastra, you can apply through CMAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT. Historically, PUMBA takes candidates who score more than 95 percentile in MH-CET. Last year, the cutoff was around 98 percentile. After appearing for any of these exams, you can apply for the admission directly through the website.
Thank You!
