Will DAVV and SGSITS take part in Qualifying exam round for BE/Btech admission as the previous years data suggest that these institutes do not have any data for students admitted on the basis of class 12th marks ??

Shivi Srivastava 27th Oct, 2020

Hi,

DAVV and SGSITS does not take admissions simply based on class 12th marks only. Though it might be a cut off deciding or screening criteria.

For admission in UG courses in DAVV one needs to qualify Common Entrance Test(CET) final selection. And for PG courses one needs to qualify GATE as well as any other entrance exam accepted by the college.

Same goes for admission in SGSITS, there are two rounds of screening plus a last round of college level screening , done by college itself.

sir, i score 89.6 percentile in jee 2020 ..can i get admission in IET DAVV ....please ans

Tarreni Behera 26th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

With only 89.6 percentile, it seems rather unlikely for you to get into IET DAVV.Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya offers admission to students with her Jee main percentile of greater than 95.5 for students having no form of reservation. However, in case you have some sort of reservation, then you may get an admission into the Institute. Therefore, you can see how slim your chances are and it all depends now on your quota rank.

In case you want to look for alternative institutes that may suit your rank and help you in building a solid career, I suggest you to click on this link:-

This shall serve the purpose of providing you a list of colleges along with branches that are in your reach with respect to your rank or Jee main percentile and show you which colleges to look for.

Now that you have a list of colleges in hand, you may want to compare them in order to look for that institute which is best for you and for your desired course of choice, you should go through this amazing tool:-

I sincerely hope that you get admission in a good engineering college and pursue a career in the branch of your choice.

Good luck.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Sep, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of candidates, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. however it is really difficult to predict the closing score, however based on previous years of analysis, at this score you have very tough chances for selection in cse stream of IET DAV.

To know about complete list of probable college name, based on your score, category please use Careers360 college predictor tool
