The minimum qualification required for admission into a diploma course is passing of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/tenth standard/equivalent examination, with at least 35 percent in science and maths subjects.

Yes you can. This is allowed for Computer Science even if you belong to civil or any other branch. However you can apply for lateral entry and that is paper 6 for UPSEE. Pls check the details in the UPSEE brochure and download here

Yes, Diploma holders can apply for B.tech Lateral Entry. Lateral entry means the admission will be directly in the 2 year of the course program you have chosen. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for the same programme.

Hey,After doing diploma in computer engineering, you can go for b.tech in computer engineering through lateral entry, because to apply in most of the government jobs, graduation is mandatory.•After doing b.tech, you can apply for GATE and get jobs into several PSUs which hire candidates through their GATE
