I got 637, AIR 6493 NEET 2020,Female,UR,Delhi domicile.I got NSCB Med College Jabalpur in MCC round 1. I am taking admission with upgradation Option. If I get BSA college in Delhi State round 1, I will go to BSA. In that case can I still go to MCC round 2 to see if I get seat in VMMC/LHMC

Shivam Khare 10th Nov, 2020

Hello Dear Student,

I got your question but it's very confusing, let me clear you some points here, if you are taking Admission in NSCB Jabalpur in Round 1 and showing your willingness for Upgradation in Round 2 hence you are Participating in Round 2 of All India Counselling, but in parallel you are also Participating in State Counselling, if you got BSA Delhi in Round 1 of IPU Counselling, you will choose IPU Over NSCB Jabalpur, for that you have to withdraw your documents from NSCB Jabalpur and you will be exit from All India Counselling after that you will submit your Documents in Dr BSA Delhi. Hence you have chosen State Counselling over All India Counselling.

After that if you are interested in All India Counselling Round 2 then you can participate in Round 2 and if you got VMMC in Round 2 then you just need to Withdraw your Documents from Dr BSA Delhi. As far as I know this is Allowed and you can do this if you got a Seat in VMMC in Round 2, you are just taking exit from Round 1 of State Counselling to go in Round 2 of All India Counselling, I will advise you to Call on MCC Helpline Numbers given in the "Counselling Scheme" brochure on the MCC website. Also if you are going with Dr BSA Delhi then talk to Nodal Officer present in Dr BSA Delhi regarding this issue, if he permit you for Round 2 of All India Counselling then you can withdraw your documents from Dr BSA Delhi.

can I get a seat in private medical college throught state counselling in Maharashtra. I have Maharashtra state domicile and my AIR is 173905 and I have scored 410 in neet

Mrinalini Sarkar 10th Nov, 2020

Hello,

You have not mentioned your category so it is difficult to say about your admission. I assume you belong to general category. If my assumption is correct then I don't think you will get a very good private college but you can look for Deemed Universities. In case you are from SC/ST/OBC then I think you have a chance in getting good colleges and you might even get a government college as well in later rounds. With domicile the chances of you getting a college would obviously increase.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

can you tell about the states where non domicile students can apply to govt quota of medical colleges??

Siddhartha 10th Nov, 2020

Hello,
You can only apply for 85% state quota seats for mbbs/bds for only the states you have domicile certificate/proof of or have passed 11th - 12th from.
However you are applicable for admissions through NEET in private medical and dental colleges throughout india (although some seats in private colleges are reserved for state students Eg - karnataka , majority of private colleges are open for students from all states)

the fees of himalyan institute of medical sciences is 13.32l per annum for permanent residents, and 18l is for other candidates. I have lived till now since I was 1yr old in uttrakhand, but I have not got the domicile due to some reasons. so what is the fees I am applicable for?

rajeevanand843 9th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant

As Himalayan institute of medical sciences is private college in dehradun and uttarakhand had divided private college seat into three categories i.e,50% for state quota, 35% all india management quota,15% NRI seats. This college have total intake of 100 student. As you are not able to produce your domicile certificate then you might get a seat of all india management quota seats do for that you will have to pay 18lakh/annum. For state quota seats you will have yo produce domicile certificate to be eligible for that category.

Last year cutoff rank for this college in general category was AIR 90994 for State quota seat.

How domicile help in neet councellling??

Shivani sunil kakde 30th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Domicile is the proof that you belong to a particular state and that you should be allowed to get benefits of that over non resident candidates.Every state reserves some seats for their state candidates so if you have a particular state domicile that state will consider you in 85% state level quota at the time of counselling.

If you do not have a domicile certificate then you are considered in 15% All india quota at the time of counselling.

Hope you got your answer.

Thank you
