hi i am acsa from Kerala scored 603 with air 18317 in neet 2020...i want to know about the private medical colleges in India where the annual fees is 1-3 lakhs per annum where I can apply even if I am from outside domicile??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Nov, 2020

603 is an amazing score, Acsa, Are you sure you want to apply for Private Medical Colleges? This is because Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. So if you hold the domicile of Kerala, you can only participate in the Government Quota seats of Kerala, B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective  State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. So even if you do not hold the domicile, you can participate in the State Counselling for Management Quota seats of Private Medical Colleges of other States.  Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Tamilnadu, AP, Karnataka are few such States. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. With a score of 603, you should certainly get a GMC in Kerala State Counselling. And you can get decent GMCs in All India Counselling too. So do think about it. We would like to hear your thoughts about this. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Kuheli Sanyal 15th Oct, 2020

Hey,

With 554 marks, you may get a rank between 19967-23501. You can check it here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

Last year the cut off for government medical colleges under 85% State Quota in Bihar was 577 marks. While in Uttar Pradesh, the cut off for government medical colleges under 85% State Quota was 576. So based on this, you have equally difficult chance of getting a government medical college in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. To know more about Bihar cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar . To know more about Uttar Pradesh cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

I hope you can base your decision upon the above stated facts. Keep in mind that cut off varies every year depending on the seats availability, the total number of qualified candidates and the difficulty level of the exam. Hey,

As we all know that Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada hasn't relesed the official cut-off details for top and eminent Government and private MBBS instituions till now, so I would like to recommend you to follow the previous year's (2019) details in this regard. Though the cut-off marks vary each year depending on several determining factors like number of appeared canditates, number of successful candidates, total number of available seats, difficulty level of the examination, still you can get a basic perception regarding this.

After thoroughly analysing  2019's informations, it'll be quite clear for you also that despite being OBC category student you don't have any kind of possibility to get admission in any of the top Government MBBS colleges in Andhra Pradesh with this marks. But if the financial condition of your family is quite good to afford 35-40 lakhs in next 5 years, then you can try for top private MBBS colleges. Now I'm providing you a list of those private Medical colleges genuinely suitable as per your category and expected marks in NEET UG 2020:

Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru

Great Eastern Medical School, Srikakulam

GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry

Katuri Medical College, Chinakondrupadu

Konaseema Inst., of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram

Gayathri Vidya Parishat Inst. Of Health care Medical Technology, Visakhapatnam

Maharaja Inst. of Medical Sciences, Vizianagaram

NRI Inst., of Medical Sciences, Visakhapatnam

Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ibrahimpatnam

Narayana Medical College, Nellore

PES Inst., of Medical Sciences, Kuppam

Santiram Medical College, Nandyal

Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Murukambattu (V), Chittoor District

You should go through the following Careers360 article to get detailed-oriented conception in this context:

I got 544 marks obc category and Delhi domicile. I know I cant get a government seat so can you tell me any college with low fees?

Apoorva Student Expert 29th Sep, 2020

Hello dear student,

On the basis of previous year cutoff list under 85% state quota it is difficult that you will get admission in any of the colleges in Delhi with this score , even to get admission in BDS is difficult for you. As the seats allotted at lowest marks are above 560 . And every year cutoff changes and usually it increases by 15 to 20 marks.

while there is a probability that you may get seat under 15% all India quota in other states of the country.

Here I am attaching the link through which you can check in which college you can get admission into
