i got 564 marks and 39717 All India rank and 16696 category rank in Neet ug 2020 , i belong to obc category ...is there any chance to get government or semi government Medical college in Delhi or in any state ... bt i have bihar domicile

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 7th Nov, 2020

If you hold the domicile of Bihar, for you to secure a seat in Delhi GMCs, you need to participate in All India Counselling. And 564 marks are a tad less for a seat under All India Counselling because an All India Rank of 23126 with Delhi domicile couldn't secure a seat in Delhi GMCs. You might have a chance in:

  • Santosh Medical College
  • Santosh Dental College
  • Manav Dental College

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. • Government Medical College, Pali

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

my domicile is tamilnadu, but I did 12 th std alone in delhi, is it possible to apply for Delhi state quota.(85%).

Siddhi Shenoy 29th Sep, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Since you have completed class 12th from Delhi, then you are eligible to apply for state-quota in Delhi. Note that you have to carry your study certificate of class 12th which will serve as a poof. Also, if you have domicile of Tamil Nadu, you can apply for state-quota in that state too. The only thing is you need to produce a domicile certificate of Tamil Nadu.

after the round 1 of neet counselling 2020 what are the chances of my selection all over India and delhi? I got 597 marks in neet and I have delhi domicile with gen-ews category.

kritiesse 7th Nov, 2020

hello,

597 is quite a fair score. But let me clear up something about the EWS category is that it does not make much of a difference. Now, as for admission in Delhi, its not really possible, although you might stand a chance but not a strong one. Because the cutoff marks in Delhi colleges have not gone below 650  and the ranks haven't even crossed 1000. All ranks under 1000 have been chosen.

But as I said, In the second round you might still stand a chance if a seat vacancy is left.

Now if we consider all over India, you stand an even better chance because many colleges have cut off below your marks and that would get you admission. Check this link to check all the state wise college cutoffs:
