450 marks in neet 2021 of Ap domicile and bc-b can i get government seat?

Ayush Roy 14th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant. You mentioned you belong to BC-B category and you expect to secure 450 out of 720 in NEET UG 2021. Based on your marks, your overall percentile ends up around 91.08 - 91.58 and your AIR may end up somewhere around 133550 - 165700 considering difficulty of the paper to be moderate.

Based on your marks obtained, it is less likely for you to get admission to MBBS at Government medical college but there are few Private colleges where you may get chance under Government quota.

You may also get chance in few Government dental colleges for pursuing BDS. As per my opinion, a candidate from BC-B category is required to fetch a minimum 500 out of 720 in order to increase his/her chances to get admission to Government medical colleges.

can I get any govt bams college in india with 529 marks in neet general category and Uttar Pradesh domicile...if yes then please suggest me name of good govt Colleges..

Divya kushwah 21st Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant,
I hope you are doing well and good. 529 is quite a good score in Neet. You know the cutoffs change every year so it is quite unpredictable. Getting seat in any states of India means you have to apply for all India quota. Apart from your home state, admission to any other states will be done through All India quota. Now if we go through the cutoffs of previous year, then it would be quite difficult to get any seat in MBBS through all India quota as the cutoffs through AIQ is very high. At least 580 marks in Neet is required to get seat through all India quota for MBBS if you belong to general category. And if you have reservations, then you can expect a seat through AIQ. You can try for state counselling as under state quota the cutoffs are usually low compared to AIQ.

You can check the cutoffs of the medical colleges through AIQ here
http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

But keep this in mind that these are based on previous year data and this year it might change. You can check the cutoffs through all India quota here.

You can use our Neet College Predictor tool to know where you have good chances of getting admission

hey my domicile is uttar pradesh. 1-- if I want a any government medical college in other state I had to go all india counselling.... 2-- if I want any private college in other state I had to go through state counselling of that state.... both are right or anything wrong??

Raj 21st Nov, 2021

Hello student ,

So basically AIQ is for all the NEET candidates who wants medical seat in any part of India and State quota is for those students who wants to get a medical seat in their own state irrespective of whether it is private or government .

The seats of all the Government Medical and Dental Colleges in India through NEET are divided into two quotas namely -

All India Quota(15%) and State Quota(85%).

This means 15% of the total seats available in the Government Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges are under the All India Quota which is also known as the Central Pool. The counseling for such seats are conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). The counseling for remaining 85% seats are conducted by the respective State authorities.

Also, for the 15% All India Quota seats, all the candidates who appeared in NEET UG 2021 and qualified the exam are eligible to participate in the counseling process whereas for 85% State Quota seats, the candidates are also required to fulfill the domicile criteria as laid down by the authority responsible for the NEET counselling of a particular state.

i got 367 marks obc category with domicile of bihar can I get mbbs college under 50 lacs in India ??

Sumona Maiti 21st Nov, 2021

Hello,

Firstly, let me tell you that each and every year the cut - off get changes depending upon many factors. This year lots of candidate had appeared for the NEET examination making the competition a bit more harder. Secondly for getting seat in any of the Govt.  Medical College for pursuing BSc nursing or MBBS or B. A. M. S   you must score at least 50 percentile (720 -136) for open category and 40 percentile ( 137 - 108 ) for OBC/SC/ST category.

Seems,  you will definitely get chance.

Hi aspirant,

You are eligible to avail the benefits of state quota reservation from both the states as you fulfill some of the the basic requirement criteria for the same:

  • A candidate needs to be a native citizen of that state (  Supportive documents are needed)
  • Should have completed secondary or senior secondary education from that state
  • Parents must have been working for atleast 7 years in a government/ private forum recognised by State government.

Hope it helps!!

hi! neet 2021 score 565 , all india rank 36784, domicile state madhya pradesh, catagory General, government college milne k koi chance H? 27%obc reservation ka kya effect hoga ur cutoff pe?

monstwerdash 20th Nov, 2021

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well .It's very difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year depending on various factors like no. of candidates appeared, difficulty level of the paper, seat matrix and overall performance of the students. But we can have a general idea based on last year cut-offs as this year it's going to be somewhat similar.

You mentioned your state to be Madhya Pradesh and your category being general and AIR 36784 . Congratulations, you do have chances of getting a seat in some  government colleges based on NEET 2020 cutoffs through Madhya Pradesh State quota counselling .I'll list the name of the colleges below :

1) Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Chhindwara : NEET 2020 closing AIR for general category : 39658

2) Government Medical College,Khandwa : NEET 2020 closing AIR : 38174

3) Government Medical College,Shahdol : NEET 2020 closing AIR: 42080

4) Government Medical College,Shivpuri : NEET 2020 closing AIR: 41384

5) Government Medical College,Datia: NEET 2020 closing AIR : 39129

For further information on the above colleges ,you can visit the link given below:

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp As far as your next question is concerned, the impact of the 27% OBC and 10% EWS reservation will only be on the 15% AIQ seats in the colleges and not on the 85% State quota seats . Rest the cutoff may vary slightly from last year given that the overall performance of the students who appeared from your state in NEET 2021 is not very different than the last year's performance.

All the best !
