Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar
Hello Aspirant,
See there is no any minimum percentile required to be eligible for admission in NITs for any category because the seat allotment process is based on the rank of candidate but if you are General candidate and wants to get into any NIT then you should at least try for 96-98 percentile in JEE-Main 2021 . See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts. However basis on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

As JEE-Main 2021 result for February attempt is out so to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Good Luck!!
hello aspirant,
As of now its tough to estimate what is the exact mark you need to get more than 99 percetile but based on previous year analysis we will help you.each year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficutly level etc factors so note that as each year it changes so are your chances into colleges.now to fetch a percentile more than 99 you need a minimum of 180+ CONSIDERING IF THE PAPER IS MODERATE.and scoring more than 180 makes it easier even if the cutoff rises.so target high and work for it.for more information you can refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor/result
hope this helps,
thankyou.
Based on https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile your percentile would be around 84-87.based on previous year cutoff you will be eligible for giving your jee advanced examination.with your percentile around 84-87 you will have very low or no chances to fetch seat in any nits.you need to have a percentile of 98+to fetch a seat in good nits.to get a personalised report of your colleges list if you have any refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
