Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar
What fee was mentioned, Please brief?
Hi Shaurya,
Congratulations! Your first priority should be the course, as both colleges are almost equally reputed.
NIT Jalandhar fares better in the latest NIRF ranking list(42nd rank), though both colleges are among the top 100 in the country. The Mechanical department has a strict faculty, good placements (avg package 5-6 lakhs per year) and gives nice exposure to its students.
NIT Jamshedpur is also great in placements. EE is a good branch and has excellent opportunities in placements and research. Faculty is also decent.
At the end of the day, it is your interest and abilities that matter for placements and higher studies. So you may choose according to your interest as you have to spend atleast next four years studying it. All the best.
Dear aspirant,
Food quality in nit jalandhar is quite better as the college being located in punjab but sorry to say you are gonna miss the south indian food there as the college is located in punjab so you will get mostly north indian dishes.

It depends on what course suits you. In Electronics and Communication Engineering, you will learn about semiconductors and their applications along with remote coding. Whereas, as a Computer Science student, you will learn about coding and its fundamental. Both these colleges are decent with average placement records, so choose wisely.
