Hey
Except the courses like physics and electronics, only mathematics follows the eligibility criteria of best of four percentage. For the courses like physics and electronics, your PCM percentage is taken into consideration.
Since you are from general category, then there will be a bit difficult for you to grab a seat for the hons courses. You have to look for getting admission in any college in the closing cut offs. But you can get admission in course like electronics because the cut offs for this course is slightly lower than the other two courses. If your PCM score is around 87% or above then have chances that you may get admission in DU. This estimation is based on the previous cut off trends.

Thanks
You mentioned your score and the course that you want to pursue but not the category to which you belong so it will be a bit difficult to estimate college accurately.
For getting admission into zoology hona your best of four percentage is not taken into consideration. You eligibility will be calculated on the basis of PCB percentage. If you are from unreserved category than it's difficult for you to get any college as per previous cut off trends. However, if you belong to the reserved category you still have few chances that you might grab a seat at DU.

Hey Anurag
To check whether you are eligible to take admission in a particular college, you need to match the cut off of the respective college with your best of four percentage (Arts and Commerce) or PCB/PCM percentage (Science courses).
Let's suppose the first cut off for a course A (Arts) is 96% at a college X under a specific category, then in order to be eligible for getting admission in this college, your best of four percentage should be equal or more than 96% and you should belong to the respective category.
Once you're eligible, you can continue with the admission process in that respective college.

The quality of placements in Delhi University is based on two factors - Course and College.
Economics hons and Bcom hons are very popular courses of Delhi University and the chances of placements are good. Statistics is also a very good course when you are looking for placements after your graduation.
Colleges like Hindu, Hansraj, SRCC and Sri Venkateshwara College have had good placements in the previous years. Also, the placement cell of these colleges are quiet active.
84% is an average score for getting admission in Delhi University. You didn't mention your category so it's a bit difficult to estimate colleges for you. BA (Hons) Political Science is a very popular and most sought after course of DU. Generally, the cut offs for this course remains very high. Calculate your best of four percentage which is the eligibility criteria for getting admission in this course. It's mandatory to add political science as a core subject while calculating your best of four marks.
If you are from unreserved category then it will be a little difficult for you to get colleges in the starting cut offs. You will have to look for colleges generally in the closing cut offs.
As per previous cut off trends, the cut offs were closed for this course even at the high percentage.
You can get colleges such as - Ram Lal Anand College, Motilal Nehru College, Swami Shraddhanand College, Zakir Hussain College etc
