Since economics Hons. Has a lot of stuff related to mathematics, I think it would be difficult for someone having no knowledge about the maths being done in 11th and 12th standard. Thus there is no good university offering economics Hons without maths.
Still you can check for some private
There is an entrance exam in these universities for economics course. There is a BHU UET test in BHU for UG courses including economics. The same goes in DU. There is an entrance named DU JAT for Business Economics course in DU. Same there is a test in Presidency college
There should not be any issue but it would be better if you can tell which particular college you are asking for because the admission and eligibility criteria varies accordingly.
Please tell which particular course and university/college you are asking for beacuse without knowing the complete detail it is quite difficult to provide the information.
The major difference is, in B.A (H) you would be studying particular specialisation papers in the third year whereas BA would be common and there is no core specialization. Also, in DU admissions are done on the basis of 12th merit and the cut off varies college and course wise
Please tell which particular state you are focusing on as generally DU colleges are most demanding to pursue undergrad program in Economics.

If you are interested then you can opt for chartered accountancy (professional course) after 12th since you have a commerce background. It is in high demand now a days.
