Hey Arpit!
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Noida, is a good college with great infrastructure such as huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, etc,.
When it comes to placements, they have tie-up with a lot of IT companies and it becomes easy if you want to choose IT sector. The hughest salary package is around 12-15 lakhs/year. The lowest salary package is 3 lakhs/year where the average is 5 lakhs/year. Top companies which come here are TCS, CTS, Wipro, Airtel, Infosys, etc,. If you have a sound knowledge in programming languages, then it would be a easy matter to you to get placed.
Seminars are organised every now and then in the College Campus for the recruitment. Internships are provided. The on-studying students of that college are very much happy about the placements as they claim that they provide 100% job assurance.
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!

Dear Aspirant
There is a very big difference in the two branches you have mentioned, Mechanical has subjects like fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, automobile engines, lathe machine, hydraulics, etc.
While on the other hand, EEE has subjects dealing with things like transformers, satellites, circuits and networks, etc.
If you are interested in the thermodynamics and calculus then Mechanical is a good choice, if you were interested in the Electricity and electrical devices, then EEE, is a good option.
As per the current market situation, EEE has a better scope than the mechanical engineering as the number of jobs in mechanical are decreasing while it is not the case in EEE.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
