You can get various answers of this question but you can have my suggestion too.
ECE and EEE. Mainly there are three reasons for doing engineering and I would be outlining those three cases.
JOB : In this case ECE can be a much better option than EEE.
Hey ! For getting admission in kumarguru college you should have scored 45% in your boards exam but sorry to say your marks are less than the required . You should try in some other college or give your board exams next year to improve your performance . Good luck!
As the appliances you're interested in gravitating more towards communication, ECE is the way to go! ECE is a combination of how electronics works out with communication and is a unique mixture of the two, and will help you in your interests for sure!

daer aspirant your rank is average enough to get an nit. but there are low chanches to get electrical engineering in good nits. you may get nit ksikkim, manipur, mizoram, nagaland. but these nits are not so good. you can try for gftis. but if you want to choose ee
