what is the placement of electrical engineering at DTU?

Raghav Kumar 27th Aug, 2022
Hello Student,

Hope you are doing well. At DTU, the college was under the Delhi University board and hence had an amazing teaching staff. According to the previous year data, about 70 students were placed in which the highest placement was 45 LPA and the average package was 12 LPA. IBM also chip in during the placement week and offer a pay package of around 10-15 lakhs per annum. Rated as the best engineering college in Delhi after IIT, DTU has a record of 100%.

I am doing diploma in electrical engineering and trying for IIT but I want to change my change branch in IIT . Can i change my branch there.

sakshijadhav277 27th Aug, 2022

IITs allow it's students to change branch on the basis of two criteria. Either the students can change their branch on the basis og CGPA at the end of second semester or they can apply for a different branch on the basis of their JEE Advanced Rank.

Hope this is useful.

HOW IS THE BRANCH OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING AT MUJ ?

mkahampa 27th Aug, 2022

Dear Aspirant,

Hope you are doing fine!  The University is obviously not a bad option for those who want to pursue their btech from here and also they provide opportunity for ug and pg students to participate in research projects in ECE labs, and research paper presentation at engineering conferences both at national and international levels. They also provide Positions during the academic year for the student researchers. And the total fee for btech course is aprox 12.5L (including 10K caution deposit). If we talk about placements then the average package offered was 7.5LPA for engineering students in year 2021. The average for ece branch is ranges between 3-5LPA.

I won't say this is not a good option but there are many better options for ece students. however the growth of a student is depends on himself more than choosen institute.

hope this information is helpful :)

All the best!

VIT Vellore CS IoT(Got Admission) Vs BITS Goa/Hyd Mech & Chem(230 Score) Vs IIIT Guwahati CS/EC(27163 Female AI) Vs Electrical SVNIT HS Female Vs NIT Calicut/Rourkela Mech/Chem (27163 Female OS). Please suggest preference.

thakurvishesh1 27th Aug, 2022

Any choice that you make between these great colleges will be purely a trade-off between a branch and a good location and college. If we consider the order on the basis of the quality of the college, then the preference order will be:

BITS Goa/Hyd
NIT Rourkela
SVNIT
VIT Vellore
IIIT Guwahati

This order will be the most accepted as even though you won't get CS in BITS, however the exposure they provide in various fields like Finance, Economics is unparalleled.

what should i choose between nit Trichy instrumentation and control engg and DTU electrical? I want placements and i will do coding... please dont ask me to choose other than these two...say only from these two

Sayan 27th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Choose NIT Trichy Instrumentation and Control Engineering for sure.

NIT Trichy Production for sure. DTU appeared to be a choice for you because it appears that you are a Delhi native who prefers to remain home. The best thing you can do for your career is this, if you're okay with being away from your family while you pursue your degree. Even if EEE may be a superior course to Instrumentation and Control Engineering, it is the institution you attend and the whole experience you receive that will benefit you in the long run. Numerous IT firms have also employed students in the field of instrumentation and control engineering. Therefore, I advise you to enrol in NIT Trichy's Instrumentation and Control Engineering programme.

In NIT Trichy, placement are pretty good as compared to DTU. Therefore, I advise you to enroll in NIT Trichy's Instrumentation and Control Engineering course.

Thank You

as the temperature increase, the electrical resistance

rajeevanand843 17th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant

If you increase the temperature, electrical resistance also increase, you can read the explanation below

If the temperature of a metal conductor increases, the ions of the metal vibrate more vigorously.

This increases the number of collisions between the free electrons and the ions.

Hence, for a metal, resistance increases with increasing temperature.

The resistance of a conductor increases with an increase in temperature because the thermal velocity of the free electrons increases as the temperature increases. This results in an increase in the number of collisions between the free electrons.

If we raise the temperature of the metallic conductor, the resistance will increase.

What happens in the case of a conductor is that as the temperature rises, the ions within the metal conductor gain energy and begin to oscillate around their mean positions.

All of these oscillating ions collide with electrons, causing resistance to increase.

hope this information helps you and clear your doubt

which branch is best according to placement electronic v electrical v machnical

LALBEE 26th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. In terms of government jobs, mechanical engineering is regarded as the best core discipline. Compared to electrical engineering, it has a larger number of seats available for both the Gate and the ESE exams. EEE is in higher demand than ECE in core businesses. ECE students, however, are also eligible to apply to IT firms. ECE students have more opportunities in IES than EEE students do. ECE has a higher chance of landing a government job than EEE.

What is the difference between Electrical Engineering (EE) , Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) , Electronics and Telecommunications (ENTC) , Information Technology (IT) , Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and other technological branches for Btech etc. ( please suggest detailed info.)

Jini bibi 23rd Aug, 2022

Electrical engineering (EE) is the study of how electricity, electronics, and electromagnetic are applied.

Electronics and communications engineering (ECE) is the study, development, and testing of electronic devices utilised in a variety of systems.

Electronics and Telecommunications (ENTC): This subject focuses on the telecommunications, electrical, and electronics departments and deals with the expertise of combining hardware and software components. Although there may be a few differences in their study methods, EnTC and ECE are essentially the same.

Information technology (IT) is the use of technology to handle and alter information/data. It involves using computers, networks, storage, and other technical infrastructure, both hardware and software, to solve organisational and business challenges.

Computer Science Engineering (CSE): includes fundamental knowledge of computer programming and networking.

In 2022 My gmr rank is 11000 in WBJEE and my obc b rank is 987 . Can I get admission in jadavpur university in mechanical, electrical, ece, civil?

Maitri Mandal 23rd Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

You have secured a very good score in WBJEE. At the time of counselling your category rank will not be considered, your gmr rank will be considered.  With this rank considering your category it will be difficult for you to get EE, ME, ECE, civil in Jadavpur University.  For admission to high demanding branches like CSE,ECE, IT etc in Jadavpur University will be difficult for you.

Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. Keep in mind that your chances to get a seat will vary on the following basis:

Number of seats available

Number of students applied for the same branch

The category you belong to etc.

Visit the below link to get more details about Jadavpur University:
