Electrical Engineers of any college are allowed to sit for software company placement. Big companies like TCS, Capegemini, LnT Infotech, Tech Mahindra allows electrical engineers.
With respect to product companies, if an electrical engineer is good at programming, around 50% of companies allow them or consider them.
